My phone is being delivered by FedEx (seems Apple always only delivers to me via FedEx). Should I still be able to track the shipment from China using the Wxxx number (minus last 2) to track? Both FedEx and UPS come up with no result. Apple shows preping for shipment, but scheduled delivery isn’t until 9/28-10/5.

Not true. One year I didn’t get tracking info until late the before and still got launch day delivery.

If its FedEx it's likely being shipped after Apple has stock in the US. UPS is the only carrier delivering them to Apple and customers on release day

They can if you can check by UPS reference number.

Label need to be created in FoxConn factory .

FoxConn to pick up -> load to truck to airport -> go through custom scan -> load to airplane -> departed to Alaska if luckly ( or can go to HK or Korea and fly to Alaska ) -> transfer to another airplane -> fly to Kentucky -> transfer to another airplane -> fly to your local nearest UPS hub -> sort out and put in truck to your city -> put on Delivery truck

Do you think all of this step will be done in 24 hours ?? I would say not enought. Our phone for deliver this Friday has been stay in ZZ or HK for 2 full days for go through China custom !!

They are not transferring to another plane they are continuing on the same one we already found that out

Typically with FedEx it's your phone number when you search by reference. Typically fedex express for Apple is overnight you likely to get shipping info at least by tomorrow.

However are you certain yours is fedex?

Remember that Asia is a day ahead. My phone left ZZ the morning of the 19 and arrived in Alaska the night of the 18. So the travel time kind of cancels itself out if that makes sense...I’ve made a few trips to Korea from JFK and I usually arrive in the US at the same time I left Incheon.

Stop it. If their Apple order still says it’s being delivered on Friday, then there’s no reason to believe otherwise until Apple says so.

Do you think they dont check or scan the packages or stuff from another country ?? That s the point for load and reload back to aircraft !!

IF i'm not on one of these out of ZZ or already stateside (just w delayed scans) then im doomed.
