Carrier Apple.com New 2018 iPhone Pre-Order Thread

Hubs phone and mine left Shenzhen at the same time 9:00p....his made it to AK at 12:58...mine did not. What’s going on!?

They most defiantly do not unload the aircraft. They may pickup and drop off cargo but they load it in a way that doesn't require an unload and reload. It's this thing called Logistics!

And also they don't scan the packages themselves.

they don't inspect 100%.

there are checks and balances in place that allow for releases without inspections. CPB doesn't open every bag when you fly into the US.

Apple only send out notice of delay deliver last minute ..

One million seven hundred thousand and twelve. Not to be mean, I know there are a lot of pages to read, but could some folks try to at least read some of what's been said a million times before asking the same question again?

Label need to be created in FoxConn factory .

FoxConn to pick up -> load to truck to airport -> go through custom scan -> load to airplane -> departed to Alaska if luckly ( or can go to HK or Korea and fly to Alaska ) -> transfer to another airplane -> fly to Kentucky -> transfer to another airplane -> fly to your local nearest UPS hub -> sort out and put in truck to your city -> put on Delivery truck

Do you think all of this step will be done in 24 hours ?? I would say not enought. Our phone for deliver this Friday has been stay in ZZ or HK for 2 full days for go through China custom !!

The phones don’t transfer to a different airplane.

I didnt said open every bag ...

They have XRay system can scan all the package sametime without remove rope or tape when they load on departure !!

You realize UPS has it all planned out right? What flights leave when and where and what phones go on what flight. This isn't like we are sitting here hoping our phone will leave on time. It's already scheduled out and they have them leaving in time to be here on time.

same.... still stuck at 2:10 am ZZ.... are we even getting our phones Friday then

If apple gave us the number when the label was created and the everyday customer saw this... can you image the calls to the order support number and canceled orders they would have from people worried.

I am still in zz China too, doubt starting to creep in the longer it is.
