A) We can take good care of it for the next months

B) All of us with a 21st as scheduled delivery are still on preparing to ship (according to Apple). I am not aware of a single person where the status is shipped.

And all that have tracking number then?? It won't serve for me, I will ask for a refund if it doesn't arrive by the 21st

Just got an email notice from Apple saying my XS Max silicone case won’t be arriving today as scheduled. Just found it on tracking and it sat in Memphis for THREE DAYS, before leaving on a flight out to Great Falls, MT today. That, is bad. Hopefully FedEx is the only bad one since my watch and phone are UPS.

Clearly Apple is behind the 8 ball. My order still shows “preparing to ship” on my Apple App & my phone has made it to Incheon!!!

Nope.
They don’t show you tracking in the Apple App until it’s in the states and heading to your city.
It’s all over this thread, must be the 100th time someone has come in here and just blindly said something like this :D
Apple is not the one behind the 8 ball :D

My case sat a day then the UPS trailer was late and then after that they incorrectly sorted it and it said it was delayed. All that and it still made it today on time. UPS is pretty good at fixing their mistakes to avoid delays

If apple gave us the number when the label was created and the everyday customer saw this... can you image the calls to the order support number and canceled orders they would have from people worried.
I am 100% with you on this... haven’t even thought about it before you said anything tho. There is a reason why we don’t have the “shipped” email yet. The average everyday consumer would freak out and customer service would have hours upon hours of wait time regarding all the misreads.

I know but spoke with them and explained I only ordered the product because I was receiving it that day. They told me it still could arrive in time but if it doesn't I contact them and they will offer a solution. They told me it should arrive but being honest I doubt, hope.i don't have problems with the refund. I will just wait a year for the iPhone 11 I guess

Just because we are able to track it here doesn’t mean it’s supposed to show up on Apple’s order status page, that’s why Apple will deny even having a tracking number for you. If you have a 21st delivery date you will get it then and most likely by tomorrow morning the order status will change to shipped. You should have given yourself some room for error even in these times things can happen or you could have waited. Looking at your posts from last year you have been having the same issues

Well if it still makes it here tonight via FedEx I’ll eat crow, but usually my FedEx guy is out in this area around 1 or 2 PM. So i don’t seem him coming back out today. It’s no biggie it’s just the case, but if it had been the phone with it’s “weekday only” shipping and they miss Friday, i would be a little upset.

Exactly. Hmm lemme think gunna leave the US for months but lemme Pre Order an iPhone and hope it shows up when the earliest it possibly can get here is 1 day before i leave the country. Apple shouldn't have to find a solution for you. This is a You problem

1) FYI, for anybody worried, you're being told over and over to not to. UPS can get your phone from China to your local UPS center so it makes the delivery truck much quicker than you think. I've had times when the plane lands hours before the delivery trucks move out and it makes it.

2) Its plausible your phone isn't where you think it is with UPS.

3) Apple/UPS have been doing this for a decade and every year they get it done. A tincy tincy portion of people get their shipment messed up. It won't be you.

4) I've been doing this for 8 years (since the 4S). I've had plenty of "oh my goodness it won't make it" moments. Never happens.

Relax, your phone will be in your hands Friday.

Remember that Asia is a day ahead. My phone left ZZ the morning of the 19 and arrived in Alaska the night of the 18. So the travel time kind of cancels itself out if that makes sense...I’ve made a few trips to Korea from JFK and I usually arrive in the US at the same time I left Incheon.

Used to ask FA for coffee just before the dateline westbound then complain when she brought it that it took her a whole day.
