So, I saw a lot of people requesting to hold the package in CC.
I work form home so I will be here all day even after work lol. Is there any advantage of holding the package CC instead of waiting in your home?

This is my first time pre-ordering something from Apple and first time pre-ordering an iPhone at all, I usually wait a couple of months to avoid any gap/bend/explode gate
so Im new to all these thing of tracking it and waiting for it. My latest update doesnt show depart instead the "your package is in transit..."

The advantage for me to have UPS hold it at CC....was my UPS driver doesn't get here until after 7:00 PM and I can pickup it up at CC at 12:00 PM.

Anyone with an 9/28-10/5 delivery date who received their tracking and showing an earlier delivery date?

My husband got tracking this morning using his phone number as the reference number and he has a 9/24 delivery date

Scared to change to pick-up to a local UPS store. I know my luck, and it'll end up getting lost. Anybody have any insight on whether it's a gamble to switch it?

Why would it get lost lol? You do know know that’s where your package leaves from when it gets put onto the truck right and delivered to your house..

Trucks don’t get loaded at UPS Stores. They are loaded at the distribution center.

E-mail came from Apple at 3:37am that it had shipped with a delivery date of 9/25. When I looked at the tracking info this morning it says delivery date of 9/24. It is still waiting for clearance at ZZ.

But what exactly do you thinkUPS can do for you? Take that one particular phone out of the pallet and ship it to your house?
I dont’ mean to pick on you, but I don’t understand what people expect to hear by calling UPS or Apple. The phones are where they are in a pallet with many other phones...

Tbh I trust UPS to deliver to their own store more than my house.

I’m honestly flabbergasted that so many people are getting shipping delays from changing to UPS CCs, when I changed to a store and I’m still on time. I actually just called the store to check what time they get deliveries (I had a shipping question too since I have a return to send out, I wasn’t entirely trying to be a PITA).

I think he meant UPS Store not CC. Multiple changes during the busy holiday season could delay the package but should be good now.

Time of day for the delivery. They did exactly that to my cases that were delivered yesterday. Delivery TIME changed from between 12:00 and 3:00 to after 5:30.

Same! I trust my local store more haha. My store usually gets their deliveries around 10am vs 5-7pm at home - never had a delay.
