Nope, VR is just a VR headset ripoff. Added iPhone hardware, lots of cameras, sensors and two super expensive displays. Alone the initial setup is cumbersome and something Jobs would have been furious about. You still haven’t specified a product. Back your argument up with data. And as I said, Vision Pro is exactly that
Truth is there really isn’t that much innovation out there in the tech space, and Apple isn’t the kind of company to chase stupid gimmicks like foldables
But new products aren't hard to find:
- OpenAI works together with Ive on a new AI product (https://www.theverge.com/2024/9/21/24250867/jony-ive-confirms-collaboration-openai-hardware).
- Apple failed completely in the EV market. Android has taken over and for sure BMW or Porsche were in talks with Apple but couldn't figure out a deal. They also could have sold CPUs and GPUs to car manufacturers. And even if Apple car failed, they could have sold the car architecture.
- One of latest Jobs comments was "'I'd like to create an integrated television set that is completely easy to use,' .. 'It will have the simplest user interface you could imagine. I finally cracked it.'". But I guess Jobs didn't explain the details to anyone.
- Apple could build a Ring for payment and HR monitoring (and introduce new breakthrough technologies https://www.techexplorist.com/researchers-use-wood-capture-body-heat-energy-generation/92005/).
- Apple could follow NVidia in the robotic field. Boston Dynamics, Tesla, NVidia are in - humanoid robots will be the next big thing. Apple could start with a dog.
- Apple could open their products just a little bit, like using the Apple Watch as a normal HR monitor with every device that can connect to a HR belt (I know Apple wants to sell Gymkit - but this is a fail).
- you name it ... billions of ideas are waiting to get alive.
