So Calif
When I applied from the email invite today, Apple and GS seemed to have all my personal info on me except for the last 4 of my SSN and income.

Very eerie having a credit company knowing so much about me - DOB, address, phone numbers, email, etc...

Got approved in 2 minutes - have not seen a hard pull inquiry from TU.
Got the email within 10 minutes that the Titanium card is being shipped within 7-10 days.

Question:
I am planning on traveling internationally and wanted to switch out SIM card on the iPhones for better / faster data.
Will this affect the use of the Apple card in my digital wallet ??
Normally I would use transport services (Uber, trains, etc) using the phone to pay...
Is there a chance that it will fail to pay if the SIM card is different than the original one I used to get approved ??

If you are talking about my most recent request for the physical card (had some bumps along the way) I requested it on Monday.
I see, so you've already had to cancel and reorder? I ended up having to cancel and reorder on Tuesday because I've had mines ordered since last Tuesday with no shipping notification whatsoever.

Your personal info is gathered from your Apple ID account, the credit card company (Goldman Sachs) does not know any of your information up until you submit your application to them. In regards to your question, you should not have any issues with using a different SIM card on your phone to use your Apple Card just as long as you have data and the merchant accepts Apple Pay. The digital wallet isn't attached to your SIM card or carrier in any way. Make sure to notify Goldman Sachs that you're travelling internationally to prevent any issues.

Correct. I initially applied via an early invite on 9/7 with my current ID which is an enhanced license but got the dreaded "We are unable to verify your identification information" e-mail. I re-applied every couple days and had a couple phone calls and chats with customer support who promised someone would call me back. No one did. Then on 9/15, as a last ditch effort, I used my old license (which is not enhanced) and got approved. I applied for a physical card on the spot but changed my billing address thinking they would send me the card through USPS (I don't have a mailbox yet, but have a P. O. Box). After a couple days they told me they wouldn't deliver to a P. O. Box and cancelled my order. I learned that they actually ship the card via FedEx or UPS which is ok to my house. So I re-ordered on Monday. And tracking says it will be here tomorrow. I think that's the whole story. LOL.

I have a REALLY hard time believing you have an 850 AND got declined

I believe it, similar thing happened to me. I have 844, no revolving credit card debt. No missed payments. I have two mortgages (one is a rental prop). The first time I put in my income, I didn't include my wife's. Got declined. Second time just used the household income and got approved. Pretty sure I could have put in any damn number I wanted to.

Side note:
I'm posting on MacRumors about signing up for a credit card. Feels like an Onion article come to life.

Sorry but it's nearly impossible to have an 850 score much less the casual "I applied for an Apple Card and got declined" complainer. I'm sure they are just trying to prove they are good people and should have not had any hassle.
