Apple finally own up to and agree to fix hinge issues!

I still hope that my baby doesn't go through any of this unless Apple would provide me with a revD as a replacement

Can anyone tell me where a squeaky hinge fits into all this. I have a Rev C about two months old, which works perfectly but squeaks often when I open and close it. The squeak comes at the beginning of the movement upon opening and obviously the end upon closing. If it were a door and not a computer I would apply WD-40 and that would probably be the end of it.
