Yeah, but so perfectly! I'm not being mean, I just think It's funny. I'd be too lazy, I'd probably just take a picture of it before I took it apart...

It is possible to wash the keyboard in the bath using washing-up liquid without going to all that dismantling hassle. I've done it to three different Apple keyboards (2X Pro Keyboard and 1X iMac Short Keyboard) with no ill effects.

Make sure you rinse it really well many times shaking out the water each time and try using a shower head and kitchen brush.

It is essential to let the things dry out really well, I propped them up in front of an ordinary desk fan for a couple of days.

Another technology tip from the country that brought you the square steering wheel.

It's a reminder that cleaning time has come..!

Yeah. I love the Apple keyboard. I think more people could use the "cleaning time has come" reminder. A girl I knew in college had the most disgusting habits as far as eating at her computer. One time she asked me to come help her with something and there was a pile of 7 dirty bowls next to the desk, innumerable pop cans, and several partially empty boxes of crackers and cookies. I sat down at the computer (an HP), and saw that the keyboard was really disgusting...hair and food particles were all over it, as well as a strange sticky substance on various keys. And here's the best part -- when I began to type, every key made a "crunch" noise as I pressed it down. I wanted to vomit.

Well what about putting the KB in the dishwasher? I can't really be bothered googling it, but it is supposed to be the best way of cleaning a keyboard.

oh boy...just finished cleaning my imac keyboard..... JESUS CHRIST! a whole year of junk and hair and oil, and dust, and oh my god! (and i'm VERY careful with my keyboard, i don't eat while on my computer, etc)

spent an hour and 1/2 taking all the keys off, cleaning the keyboard, then cleaning the keys then putting the keys back in.

but it's so clean now!! i was thinking about changing the keyboard just because of the dirt.

A whole pack of them. Best use of a rapper I've seen :D

Anyways, who comes up with these names?

We'll probably have some future rapper call himself "Viagra" because he can make everyone "stand up" ;)

Didn't 50 cent describe his name as "A metaphor for change"

I cleaned it, and I bumped the keys layed out on my desk. It actually looked kinda cool.

It was kind of amusing when I pried some of the keys off with a little lego rod (used it like a lever, bottom bezel as fulcrum), and it bounced off my desk like a caffeinated flea.

talk about a thorough cleaning. I don't think I could bear taking all the keys off my keyboard.
