I love the idea of the apple ecosystem, and I even sacrificed a lot of performance by getting a mac studio for work instead of a windows PC costing half as much (and still having probably been more powerful), but sometimes the lack of functionality is so frustrating...
I got onboard the full ecosystem in 2020, and I hoped apple would have eventually patched this, but it's 2024 and the media syncing between mac and iphone just doesn't work.
No matter what, the playback between the 2 deviced with Music and Podcasts just doesn't work, leading to very awkward situations...
Whenever I listen to a podcast on my Mac, then go out and fire up my iPhone, I need to manually go back and forth into the timeline to the point I was at on my computer.
When I get back home, I have to do the same....so much for the seameless integration...
Have you experienced anything similar or is my wcosystem somehow broken and malfunctioning?
