It's a funny colour isn't it? I opened it in my car and was like "FFS that's blue" after waiting so long for a proper purple to be released.
Then in natural light it certainly is purple.
I'm thinking about this colour combination, please could you post a couple of pictures?? Thanks

Because that’s kind of boring? At least imo. The specks of color throughout give it some nice character.

Some of the people were wearing them in the keynote and it looked great. But the color on the site doesn't match.

Very much this. My Leather Loop folds over on itself at the U-turn through the buckle with minimal bulk. The Sport Loop (I picked up a black one) sticks out/up at that point considerably more. I could get it to lay flatter if I pulled it very tight around my wrist, but that would go against the idea of it being comfortable. I suspect that over time the bend will get worn in and will lay flatter, but out of the box I'm a bit disappointed - was expecting to love it, but it's only a strong like instead (watch band getting friendzoned - is that a thing?).

Click buy then in-store pickup, then nearby stores, and it'll tell you which stores have it and when the others expect to get it. Frequently they'll have it available even if ordering for home delivery says its weeks out. Occasionally the stores will have stock that doesn't show (or doesn't show yet), and you can call to check, but that's so 20th century. I picked up a Black Sport Loop mid-week - online said it was several weeks out, my default store said mid October, but the slightly further store had it available for pickup the next morning.

Same here (but on a SGS). I really wish they had put a bit more red in the mix, so it was purple all the time.
Anyone know if the new Nike Pure Platinum/Black sport band is the same as the NikeLab (limited edition) one? To me the new one is slightly whiter. I really wanted to have the NikeLab one. Please let me know your thoughts so I can decide whether to order one or not. Thank you!
It’s not the same. The nikelab band was creme colored to match the bone color Nike face. This one is more white with an almost very light grayish tone. I saw in person on Saturday.
I agree. The pics are actually accurate in this case.

I tried the black sport loop on my gold S3 and I fell in love. Unfortunately the store didn't have any in stock, so I have to wait. COngrats on getting your hands on one!
