Doesn't interest me in the least...

iCloud: already have the $2.99 plan, that's enough for me
AppleTV Plus: have a free subscription through next June, will probably cancel at that point
Arcade: not interested in games
Fitness: I get my exercise outdoors
News Plus: Did the free trial and cancelled, the regular free News is fine for me
Apple Music: Not interested, have my own large library

At the moment, I pay monthly for the 50GB storage. When my free AppleTV+ ends, I will pay the $49 for the year and I already pay $99 or less a year for Apple Music. I have a 4 month free trail for the News app that ends at the end of January. I haven’t seen anything there worth paying $10 monthly for. I don’t do arcade.

I subscribed to the top tier, but plan to drop down - and go back to the 2TB plan (right now it's "4TB" until my renewal next month, which is retarded).
Why did we do it? Family of four (2 adults/2 kids) + my mother = makes sense. $360/5 = $72/year for each person; or less if I do the lower tier.
We're already paying $30/month for Apple -> TV+, Music, 2TB plan, etc.
So now get get News+ + Arcade (which my son accidentally signed up for) + Fitness+ for "free".

I think it really works better if it's a large family

I did. It made sense for my family. We already paid for family music and 2 TB of icloud. That nearly covers the premium family cost alone. We also enjoy Apple TV+ so we would have paid for that eventually. I also enjoy news+ when it’s effectively free.

I have signed up for the $14.95 service. But, I doubt I will keep it. Mainly want to try the Apple Music (to see what the big deal is/was).

Prior to Apple One, I paid $0.99 for 50GB iCloud storage. And, Apple TV+ is free till Feb 2021, or something.

Not interested. The only thing I currently pay for is Apple Music and I rarely even listen to that these days. I may even cancel that.

I had the 9.99 icloud and 14.99 music plan so got the premier for the news (I tend to hit the wall when I read stories) and the arcade. I had TV through Feb like most but this way it's all taken care of. Just need to make sure I won't get hit with a charge for any of the existing plans at renew time and I'll be fine.

Technical question on Apple One. I was reading the details and it says:
"During the free trial, you keep both your current iCloud storage plan and the iCloud storage in Apple One. Once the trial is finished, your current iCloud storage plan is canceled. Your total iCloud storage will be the amount included in your Apple One subscription."

This could suggest that it will re-upload everything to a new Apple One iCloud storage account. Or it could suggest that by keeping your "plan" you simply double up the storage capacity but it uses your existing upload. I'm assuming it's the latter as it would seem crazy to re-upload everything. As a family of 5 with 1TB sitting in iCloud right now and stuck with Comcast's 1.2TB monthly caps I'm trying to understand if switching to Apple One is going to nuke my monthly cap.

Thanks.

I converted and my existing uploads are there. Not sure what happens if you subscribe and don't have any existing plans.

stuck with Comcast's 1.2TB monthly caps

I pay an extra $25/mo for Xfi complete. Used 12 TB last month with no extra charge.

Subscribed on Friday at launch. Had been waiting for its arrival.
Previously I was signed up to family music £15, News+ £10, Arcade £5 and 200gb iCloud at £3. So the premier plan saves me a few quid, upgrades my storage to 2tb and most importantly puts everything into one monthly payment. I was hugely sick of the small amounts on different days all the time.
I received a 64p refund on my iCloud subscription this morning and apparently the services we already subscribe to will be given a part charge in November to take them to the Apple One billing date on November 30th.
Looking forward to the fitness+ deal joining when it’s ready as the Nike training club has gotten a bit boring now after using it for the last 7 months.

How does it work if you have a 12 month Apple TV sub already ?
I pay for Apple Music and 50gb of cloud already and I have Apple TV “free” for next 9 months from buying a new iPad

I had Apple TV+ free with my iPhone 12 Pro for 12 months but when I joined Apple One it changed to one month free. Same with Apple Arcade - down to one month.

I might speak with Apple online and see if I can get some itunes and app store store credit instead.

had this from Apple chat

You can’t combine Apple One with promotions like the new device promotion. If you sign up for Apple One after you redeem an offer, the redeemed offer continues simultaneously but doesn’t impact the cost of Apple One. You can cancel Apple One and any remaining time you had for the promotion will still issue.

The individual would be 14.95 still for the other content. The only thing that changes is that until the trial ends your Apple TV+ it wont be bundled the rest. The price wont change however

Actually I’d be better off paying for Apple Music and my cloud storage and waiting until Apple TV runs out before taking out Apple one

Ok, so say I’ve got Apple TV+ free until next March, if I take out an Apple One subscription, what happens to the free Apple TV+?
i just spoke to apple about this and pretty much what happens is, it cancels out. once you bundle you'll get the first month free and after that month you'll be billed monthly. so if you're not in a hurry to bundle anything i'd wait it out. my free appletv+ sub ends 2/21/2021 but ill be subscribing to the premier plan mid Nov. 11/15 is when the plan ends for my monthly music and storage subscriptions.
