i just spoke to apple about this and pretty much what happens is, it cancels out. once you bundle you'll get the first month free and after that month you'll be billed monthly. so if you're not in a hurry to bundle anything i'd wait it out. my free appletv+ sub ends 2/21/2021 but ill be subscribing to the premier plan mid Nov. 11/15 is when the plan ends for my monthly music and storage subscriptions.
UGH! I wish I waited to 'test' this Apple One, versus me rushing to sign up when I did.
If I cancel the free trial now, I lose my Apple TV+ that I had till Feb 2021.

Doesn't interest me in the least...

iCloud: already have the $2.99 plan, that's enough for me
AppleTV Plus: have a free subscription through next June, will probably cancel at that point
Arcade: not interested in games
Fitness: I get my exercise outdoors
News Plus: Did the free trial and cancelled, the regular free News is fine for me
Apple Music: Not interested, have my own large library
That's exactly it. Apple One is currently designed for streaming music users in mind. The pitch is "pay $5 more and get Apple Arcade, Apple TV+, and iCloud."

I wish Apple would offer iCloud centric Apple One plan, such as $15.99 plan that includes 2TB iCloud, iTunes Match (which enables iCloud Music Library), Apple Arcade, and Apple TV+.

Heads up to people with separate iCloud and App/iTunes/Store accounts. I just got charged for Apple Music for my iTunes account after switching to Apple One. Now I'm worried that I won't have my purchases/listening history transferred to my Apple One account.

have you contacted apple? i was going to wait until 11/15 when my music and storage plans renew and upgrade then but i upgraded today. i did some digging on the internet and i read somewhere that they can refund you....like a prorate. i would highly suggest though for anyone looking to switch that they cancel their renewal payment to a subscription so you're not charged later. when you cancel the renewal payment it will tell you that your subscription is good until whatever date your payments happen on and you wont lose anything. (well, you SHOULD'NT lose anything)

I did. Apparently your existing Apple Music subscription will get continued to get billed until Apple One starts billing because it's not part of the trial.
