Yep added my Natwest debit card and all good on my iOS 9 iPhone 6 and my Apple Watch running OS 1 so no sync issues

Tried 'adding rbs debit card'

Is there a confirmation screen to confirm the card is added, just took a photo of the front and back via iPhone 6 though no confirmation.

Update since e-chat with rbs -I've since ordered a contactless card which is compatible with Apple pay

received contactless rbs debit card today, added to iPhone 6 wallet:)

don't know if people have checked with Natwest but I was told today my chip and pin card would not register as you need a contactless card, turns out on the call I was eligible for contactless so enabled it on our account and issued replacement cards for contactless and once they arrive can add to apple pay
WATCHOS 2 here and can't get the card onto my watch :(
if your running latest watch beta this has apple pay disabled

So clearly something has gone wrong somewhere. It would of been better for HSBC (PR-wise) if they had just admitted to some technical problems, or further testing, but it's been quite an embarrassment.
Given that HSBC have been riding the Apple Pay hype wave front and centre, I have no doubt they had planned to be here day one, else Apple wouldn't have put them on the first slide in the keynote. I'd like to know when they changed their mind; before or after someone leaked the launch date on Twitter.

Incompetence? They are clearly not ready for it. The biggest bank in Europe and third largest in the world, and they can't get this right.

Used Apple pay in mcds today, my phone didn't flash up payment successful although it was, I double clicked on the home button etc. Just wondering why it didn't tell me it went through, not sure if due to running PB Beta 1 or I did the payment too quick and locked the screen by accident

Is anyone on PB1 and able to use Apple pay in apps (Inc Apple store)? I've tried a few different apps (Apple store (let's me look at account info, but can't pay for anything), Zara, and hungry house, but the Apple pay option just doesn't appear.

does anyone know it it works in asda as i shop regularly there and always use their self service checkouts

In general, it'll work anywhere contactless payments work. Keep in mind, of course, any place that doesn't support Apple Pay is limited to £20 per purchase just like contactless cards.

as far as I'm aware asda doesn't do contactless I've got two local ASDA's and they do not do contactless and I'm in wales currently on holiday and this asda doesn't have contactless either so I can't see it working

yeah, that's correct.

At the minute, Morrisons is the only one of the big Four supermarkets who currently have contactless terminals and supports apple pay. I think Morrisons missed a trick by not having their logo up on the apple website to be honest.

Although, we're being told that is being planned.

I use contactless in Tesco every day.

My Natwest card isn't contactless, yet is all set up in Apple Pay and works (tested in Boots...) though feel like a right tit using it to pay TBF.

The APPS will need to be updated, Just Eat issued an app update the same day Apple Pay launched, I havent seen any others yet

I've just tried to use my Natwest credit card in Starbucks. My phone said success but the terminal said try again. It hasn't come out but my iPhone said it had. Odd.

Edit: just tried it in M&S and it wouldn't work either. Maybe I've got it set up wrong!
