Why are Apple always late to the party?!
They then create something that's already been done and call it 'revolutionary'.
Apple no longer innovate.

According to Youtube, a good way of getting a massive private external display for your devices without breaking the bank.
Sounds great in theory but on an iPhone we use our hands to navigate around. If you can’t see your hands how can you do anything. Especially type

They're more for gaming with a controller, watching movies or using with a laptop and touch typing over extending a phone display. They are also regular glasses and let you look downwards whilst the display stays in one place in front of you.

Understood. I need to look into these more later. Can they connect to an Apple TV 4K ?

They do innovate, but approach it in a different way. This was explained by someone else in the past; I didn't figure it out. Apple enters pre-existing markets with room to innovate a more compellingly optimized product.

Apple didn't create the personal computer...but gave us the Macintosh.
Apple didn't create the MP3 player...but gave us the iPod.
Apple didn't create the cell phone, or IIRC even the smart phone...but gave us the iPhone.
Apple didn't create car interfaces...but gave us CarPlay.
Apple didn't create virtual reality headgear...but gave us the Vision Pro.

Not everything's a winner; the Apple Newton may've been ahead of its time. And the iPad's entry into the tablet market was groundbreaking, I give them that. The iTunes approach to music sales was revolutionary (though it wasn't the first way to download music - some of us remember Napster). These aren't hard and fast rules, but there is a trend.

That said, their contributions can be revolutionary. Microsoft Windows started as a shell over MS DOS, and for Windows 1.0 licensed some Mac GUI elements. Considering that Android looks to me like an iOS knockoff, I'd say Apple revolutionized the smartphone market. iPads seem to be the kind of the tablet mountain. I love CarPlay and use a Mac.

In a nutshell, Apple doesn't so much invent new things as it does improve things for a superior user experience. One can argue the semantics of 'revolutionary' vs. 'evolutionary,' but either way, the goal is 'better.'
