With how delicate the screens are nowadays with it being more shatter resistant but more likely to scratch, Apple should have tempered screen protectors pre-installed.

1. The alignment of the screen protector will be perfect and dust free
2. No fuss
3. The choice of having one is easy to keep or remove

That way, we get the best of both worlds. A more shatter resistant screen with a protective glass to protect it. All in favour?

😂😂😂 I am surprised that people are opposed it. You got the option to remove it. You guys make me facepalm. 🤦🏻🤷🏼‍♂️

Apple should also super glue the leather case onto your phone...your choice of color of course. That way, no issue with corner pulling away from phone.

I don't want to pay an extra $40 for my iPhone. You see how much Apple's screen protectors are.
Is that what you think? You think when Apple adds features to a phone they bump up the price? You think just because they sell a $40 screen protector it’s going to be an additional $40? Is this your logic?

Why the **** wouldn’t you want a screen protector pre installed. For people who are against it just ****ing remove it lol. Where are your brains at 🤦🏻😂
What if you want a privacy screen protector?

BTW, Spigen and Best Buy offer amazing cheap screen protector that is idiot-proof in installing them. Literally idiot proof.

Do I seriously have to tell you what to do? Take. The. Pre. Installed. Screen. Protector. Off. 🤦🏻

I’m talking about a free screen protector pre installed as a feature of a new iPhone. Not an additional charge.

Plus if people are buying screen protectors then WTF wouldn’t you want a screen protector from Apple 🤦🏻

So, you would have the choice to "remove" a pre-installed screen "protector"?
Wouldn't the better choice to install a screen protector, if you want one?
Oh, wait! That's the choice everyone has now!
(not everyone would choose a screen protector: I, for one, choose no screen protector, never had one.)
Removing a factory installed one should not be an option that I would consider. Rather not have one in the first place.
Thanks for asking.

I use a protector on my phone. However, I don’t want to have to pay the Apple tax for a preinstalled protector. I want to instal the protector I want on my phone, have Apple dictate to me what is acceptable to them.
Apple tax? Jesus Christ...

Cost, ugly, waste.
Why the heck don’t you just install it?

i never used one in 12 years if iphone. Better some scratches than a fuggling scratched protector
Scratches aren’t ugly? Gtfo

take it off then. I never mentioned anything that would make it cost more.
