If they do it, I hope they put a sticker on it explaining it is a screen protector. When the Samsung fold came out, people peeled off what they thought was just a screen protector, but ended up being an integral part of the screen hahaha

Random number guess for organisational costs, parts and labour. I’m surely not adding that additional cost to my device hence the extra price should be paid by those interested in it. Just like, you know, what people can do now.

I use screen protectors, but this seems pointless to me. I paid $10 for a 3 pack on Amazon and installed one flawlessly on my mini in less than 5 minutes. This is a solution in search of a problem.
I don’t think the majority of people will be stupid enough to remove a free screen protector. 😂🤷🏼♂️
Because Apple won't get it perfect. My wife does it on a daily basis at work and we get them for half price with her discount. Why would I ever want to pay more. Besides my wife does a perfect job of installing ours.
This is just creating useless waste for the people that don’t want one.

They did free battery replacements. Gave us fast charging brick for one year. And they do a lot when controversy strikes them.

Bro I’m with you on this. I’ve been saying this for years. A lot of other phone manufacturers do this and I wish Apple did too. I may be biased because I like the plastic protectors over the tempered glass. I mean it’s one less thing I have to purchase when buying a new phone but Apple is in the game of selling accessories so I get it.
Even if it were free, people here still don’t want it. Even though people off clear films from new iPhones all the time. So much dumb thinking here, if you don’t want it then peel it off. But it’s there if you want it. 🤦🏻😂
