The Apple order page is now back to saying January 4 :( strangely when I click on the macbook it changes back to December 29.

UPS still no estimate, still stuck in Shanghai.

--

Dec 6: Ordered MBA 7 core 16/256

Apple says will deliver to Canada on January 4

--

Dec 16: Shipped

UPS says December 24
Apple says December 29

UPS changes to "in transit"
Apple says January 4 on one page, December 29 on another

Humbug!

Anybody else‘s MBA shipped through ZhengZhou? Mine shipped on 12/16 and has been there since 1pm on 12/17. UPS says it will deliver on 12/22. Apple initially said 12/23 but now doesn’t show a delivery date nor does it show up on the Apple Store app under the “For You“ tab was an item being shipped to me and estimated delivery date. Funny thing is that the box for my trade-in arrived yesterday and my AppleCare 3-year service plan is active and ticking down towards the expiration date. Understand the COVID situation affecting shipping and deliveries. I‘ve been following this forum since I ordered on 111/20 and seen everyone‘s frustration on the lack of communication or information from both Apple and UPS. UPS could be expected but this is so un-Apple like from being charged, shipping updates, and even AppleCare.

"Arrives Dec 17 - Dec 24 Processing" I am getting a little worried that it is not going to be here before Christmas.
I found one at a local store that I will pickup today. I was not risking this not being delivered before Christmas.

Ordered 12/19 8C/8GB/512GB SG from Apple Store, delivered 12/19 by courier.

I really want 16GB/1TB though so I'll probably order that when the delays aren't as bad and give this to my mom or something. I just needed a laptop I can work on ASAP.

I am assuming that my package might be on the same frieght as yours, but it is not getting scanned until it is distributed by UPS at Louisville.
Please do send the updates on your package!
Thanks
I woke up to the surprise that it's now scheduled to be delivered tomorrow! It's already at my local carrier ?

Ordered MBP 16GB RAM/1TB SSD on December 11th. Apple estimates a delivery date between January 13th - 20th. No shipment information has been posted yet. Typing this on my MacBook Air 2011 4GB RAM/128GB SSD so this is going to be a MASSIVE upgrade.

Are you still at the "processing" stage?
I am too but I only ordered on 16/12. I'd like to see it move just once - even if it gets stuck somewhere else :)

Yep still stuck on processing. I too would love to see at the very least a charge to my card and preparing for shipment, but the estimated date makes me think it will be at least another 2-3 weeks before even that happens...sigh lol I'm not great at waiting.

I ordered similar spec but not quite the same (16GB/512GB).
Maybe the BTO's are in short supply.
I know what you mean but there's no choice, sadly :)
There'll be the holiday period in between as well. Ah well.

I ordered a new M1 Mac mini 16GB/256GB on December 13th, expected January 6th. I got pending charge to my Apple card the 17th, and a “preparing to ship” the next day. Now it’s still “preparing to ship”! I picture an old government worker with a basket full of paperwork saying to his boss, I’m getting ready to work on those!

BTW, I have a new M1 MBA 8/256 GB that I love!

Well looks like UPS is going to try and pull off a miracle. Let’s see if they can get this done. Package finally moved and they are claiming delivery tomorrow.

Mine Shipped the same time as you and got delayed the same time as you so we’re probably stuck together. Where is yours going?

I’m in the same situation as well

Annnnnd I changed the order to a 8GB Ram/512GB MBP model. The most intensive thing I do is audio editing, and my 2011 MacBook Air with 4GB of RAM is generally enough for even that, so I saved the $400 between the RAM and HD upgrade and threw it at an external SSD for Time Machine backups and the AppleCare+ plan. Seemed more logical for my use case to be honest. Plus it should be here a little sooner than the more decked out system. Apple had an estimated arrival date of January 4th for this order...

16GB/512GB Mac Mini. US.

Ordered: 12/11
Original Expected: 1/5
Shipped: 12/21
New Expected: Apple says 12/28, UPS says 12/23

I had flip-flopped on the specs before deciding on that configuration one last time...so I could've gotten it sooner. ?

I'll be very happy if I can get it by Apple's date. UPS' looks too good to be true! I expect it to slip a bit.
