Likely version that they have applied to all new builds over the last month of production as 11.0.1 wasn't available to them. After receiving a new Mac the last thing you want to do is to let an upgrade take an hour or more away from your play time.

Let me just say, I can't believe that people that got it first are doing benchmarks instead of real life performance tests.
I mean, who cares about some numbers, just show us the real deal.

I'm also interested in gaming info, especially on the MacBook Air. I have a desktop I play low end games on, but it would be great if one of these could act as a decent option when I travel.

Anybody who already got one wanna download World of Warcraft on and let me know what kind of framerate you get in the newer content like BFA or Shadowlands pre patch, lol. I’ll find out soon enough but the expansion comes out next Monday so I’m trying to figure out if the MBP will play it well enough or if I just need a PC.

Ah yes, I ordered it with a German keyboard... despite not being native German, I'm so used to it.

Mine still thinks it's in Anchorage (since Saturday), MyChoice says Wednesday delivery to Vancouver, Canada.

Google hardcoded the page size to 4KB on macOS and it is only correct for Intel CPUs, Apple Silicon has 16KB page size, this made Chrome not runnable even with rosetta. They fixed that issue a few builds ago, but I'm not sure if that fix is in the stable channel yet. Beta channel is now targeting native ARM binaries.
