Ok, I’ve found info that actually states M1 Native-ness in Patch 5 and that Patch 6 as of Nov 8 hasn’t been released for M1. Still don’t know if this is “early access” or “general release” though. If it’s general release then the does it arm website needs to be updated :D

SO, the game’s in Early Release… period? Like there is no polished finished version of the game available, Mac OR Windows?

From the website:
Will I enjoy Early Access?
You should not buy Baldur’s Gate 3 in Early Access if you want a polished experience.

EDIT:
Patch 6 rolled out for M1 later in November. So it’s on the latest patch with this hotfix, BUT the game still hasn’t been released so… technicalities :) And, since does it arm is capturing info on unreleased titles, yeah, they should update their page!

You got it. They will probably realise the full version in 2023 or even later.

Yep :)

Anyway, to dispel any doubts — and since my M1 Max has finally arrived — here is a screenshot

Baldur’s gate 3 is the only ARM native game that is coming to MAC i believe.

Maybe Feral will port some ARM games. However the ARM port of Feral showed no improvement over Rosetta 2 thus far.

From my understanding Feral did a ARM port of Alien Isolation (for iPad and iPhone only though) and the performance has improved over the x86 port they did previously.

There are currently over 250 games marked on Steam as macosapplesilicon. While this isn't a huge amount, the ability to flag them as such has only been available since September 15, and is optional.

Not a huge amount? Realistically, how many games can one person play?

For titles released in 2021, there is Timberborn, Crab Game and DYSMANTLE, as well as GRIME and Farming Simulator 2022.

I was going to make a joke about Farming Simulator, but then I remember that I spent my vacation working on a sheep farm a few years ago, so maybe I shouldn’t talk.

The only communication from Amplitude is that there might not even be a Humankind version that rubs on ARM Macs at all, native or Rosetta. They really dropped the ball on this one. I’ve refunded the game and will wait how the situation develops.
Laaaame, I was hoping they’d be more supportive since I really like Endless Space 2.

Here you go: (just filter by Native and you'll see a very small list)

TL;DR: don't even count on it. Gaming on Mac is a very distant afterthought now and isn't even worth looking at.
Crossover seems to be working very well. That would be Codewarriors Crossover solution. Just do a yt search.

It's more 'How many titles would you be interested in?' Not everyone wants to play a city builder, or an FPS, or Doki Doki Literature Club.

Of course, that tag is opt-in, there's a couple of others that are native, or at least universal, and aren't tagged. Probably about 30-35 extra or so.

Unfortunately, gaming would remain a dream for Mac users. Even for Intel Macs there is a small selection of games especially when compared to the windows side. Furthermore, apple doesn't acknowledge gaming, some time ago Dave2D released an informative video on this and personally I believe it'll take many years before a noticeably loyal gaming community hangs onto Macs since there is little encouragement to port AAA titles to Mac.

Unfortunately, gaming would remain a dream for Mac users.

Depends on what games you like to play.

Even for Intel Macs there is a small selection of games especially when compared to the windows side.

Every game that runs on Intel Macs runs on ARM macs as well.

Furthermore, apple doesn't acknowledge gaming

Completely untrue. Apple puts a lot of effort and resources to build gaming grade hardware, frameworks and developer tools.

I believe it'll take many years before a noticeably loyal gaming community hangs onto Macs since there is little encouragement to port AAA titles to Mac.

This is true. Mainstream gaming on Mac won’t happen overnight. It will be a gradual process, driven by the steady improvement in hardware and raising interest of Mac users in playing games.

Maybe it would help to introduce consumer grade computers. Like the rumored „Mac Pro Mini“ or just the Mini featuring M1 Pro/Max chips (or some derivative thereof).

I doubt it. These will be still fairly expensive. The „consumer grade computer“ for Apple is the base M series (MacBook Air, iMac 24“).

Maybe wishful thinking on my part… still I‘d appreciate a device somewhere in between Mac Mini and Mac Pro
