I’ve been alternating leather and silicon cases since the iPhone 6 and never had lint issues. Although maybe that’s because I work outside and possibly any lint just gets blown away 😀

Plum with Teal. Nice for autumn / fall, and for now at least, not showing fingerprints like earlier silicone ones. IMG_1226.jpeg

In the beginning, it felt like the quality had improved this year. Sadly, my denim silicone case is already beginning to show signs similar to previous years. If third parties actually implemented camera control buttons, I almost certainly would not have gotten a silicone.

Upstate NY . Was FL.
Anyone having issues with the Apple silicone case speaker and mike cut out not lining up 100% with the 16PM? Mine lines up 100% if I push the case up . Maybe that’s why these were on sale on Woot for $32 ?😂

I tried the Apple clear hard case and it was OK, but the buttons were hard to press, especially the screen off button. Hated that. I tried a couple of aftermarket cases and wasn't thrilled with them since they didn't have camera control buttons, just flimsy cutouts. So, I got the Apple silicone case in lake green (love the color), and this is by far the best case I have used yet. The buttons function easily and perfectly, and the grip is just right, not too slick, not too sticky. I'll probably keep this one for a long time.

That’s not unusual for the Apple silicone case.

My plum case directly from Apple did this. I exchanged and the replacement is doing the same thing.

While I like the silicone cases I've typically gotten leather in the past. The Apple Silicone cases start off really nice but eventually wear into a rubbery mess that's hard to get into and out of pockets...at least that's been my experience in the past.

Has Apple improved this at all?

No. I first thought they were better this year, but they are the same "rubbery mess" after a few days.

I noticed today that the silicone case side that runs along the camera control button is slightly lifted away from the phone's side. I checked with 2 other silicone cases and they all had the same effect. Just checked on a couple of YouTube videos and I see it happening on the phones in the videos. Anyone else notice this? I can't "unsee" it now hahaha
