So you think Apple is more threatened by what up to now has been a niche product vs. the best selling Android tablet on the market from the world's largest online retailer? Right....

You think most people have a clue about whether the Fire is locked down or not, or even care for that matter? You give the average consumer far too much credit.

They do read consumer review sites which have consistantly rated the nexus 7 as the best android tablet. They also ask their tech friends what to get.
