Apple Store is Down - June 26th

I guess I won't be going down to the Apple Store this Wednesday. I was heading down for a Macbook, but if something changes in the portables line, it's back to the drawing board for me.
 
Looks like it's Macbook updates. Hmm..



No really....every time I buty something from Apple there's an update to it. My iPod 4G, my iMac G5. And I have a Macbook on it's way to me at the minute. Go figure.

So please tell us when you are about to buy something else and we'll know to wait for updates. No more of this guessing-and-waiting-around-for-updates stuff anymore.
 
I noticed this weekend that a lot of sources of 60GB iPods were out of stock, with only the 30GB. That made me wonder if the reports earlier in the spring that resellers had been instructed to clear stock meant that the new top end revision was coming this week.

Of course, it could just be MacBook sleeves...

...or new and improved iKlear II with anti-yellowing ingredients.

Well, with the pricedrops in Europe, I just think it's time for the 17" model to be bumped. I hope it's something bigger, but this whole thing is kinda unexpexcted.
 
I think the Mac Mini's should go all dual core. 1.6ghz and 1.8ghz respectively and get rid of the core solo model.

Hate to be boring but it's probably the XServe, Woodcrest is out today...
 
Sorry, but I am a switcher. How long do they usually take to update the sites and come back online?
 
If a smaller MBP comes out I'll have to do a serious amount of thinking. I think iMac updates are in order, its basically been six months. Either that or xServes although I always thought new xServes would come when the new PowerMacs come.

i dont know if this is any relavance, but about 30 mins before the store shut i was trying to get to the macbook purchase page where you chose any upgrades you want and i couldnt get onto it:confused:

So maybe something to do with that or there fixing some technical glictches with the site,

But more than likely its none of the above
