Apple Store is Down - June 26th

Is apple's main page always up when the store is down? Cause if you just go to apple.com.... the page appears, and theres nothing new.

Yeah, the front page doesn't go down when the store does. It just gets updated when the store goes back up - if there's anything new, that is.
