For me at around 9am, I'm going to just go to the local apple store and pick one up. :D

Apple Store is down

Anyone know what they are updating today? I'm confused, don't they usually do that on Tuesdays?

That twitter alert service recommended on here is fantastic. I know within moments whenever the store goes down. And immediately when it comes back up again so I can order all the new stuff.

...why'd you get tired of your new uni-mini so fast?

I thought they were only going to be "orderable" upon "release"?

I got tired because while running 12 spaces and vmware fusion it is barely fast enough to do everything that I do. Web pages starts to slow down and the color wheel starts kicking in and it gets very frustrating! Also when I connect to a second monitor or my HDTV, the mini starts to slow down with the color wheel popping up.

I ultimately decided that I DONT need a macbook/macbook pro (I use my netbook for school and surfing the net just fine) but I do need something that sits on my desk that is powerful to do everything. Also I spend about half my time sitting at my huge galant desk.

iLife '11!!!!

Okay, it might be the Mac Pro, but how about a little love for the iLife suite! There's been rumors iLife '11 would be released early August!

I'm hoping it will be 64 bit and taking full advantage of Hyperthreading/Multiple cores! that would be soooooo cool!

Exciting!

Well, that was the whole thing about the rumor of a media event next tuesday.
