Man after looking at the prices, the iMacs look very enticing.

I can buy the 2.93GHz iMac and a 27" cinema display and it'll STILL BE CHEAPER than the 8/12 core mac pros!!

But wont be as awesome.

You can get a 48-core (64-core next year) barebones 2U server for less than $2000:
