Do people really have extra codes?

I am a middle school math teacher and our school yearbook adviser and want to purchase my first iMac........if anyone would like to donate their unused code to me I would really appreciate it! Thanks in advance. :D

My first thought was whether you were talking about Objective-C or C++ code, maybe I'm getting a bit overworked here :p :eek:

Do they ever give out promo codes besides the 30% off $300 or more? I've gotten those (not for a while, or else I'd post 'em), but I really only want to spend the $249 for an ipod.

$30 off $300 is the lowest I've ever seen them go. You can take a look at reseller stores (macconnection, small dog, etc) and see if they might have something smaller for a coupon.

I guess maybe I'll use it next time I get a 30%/$300 coupon, and just buy an accessory or something. Don't know when that'll happen though..

Actually, lemme ask something else. I'm new to these boards so I'm not sure where I'd post this -- I want to sell my black 30gb video iPod that I have now, so I can afford the new one... mine was just replaced by Apple with what they swore would NOT be refurb/used, so it's new, plus I have the old headphones and usb cord.. and I was going to put it up on eBay with the entire 37 card set of the Starbucks/iTunes song of the day, plus a $10 iTunes gift card, and some of the starbucks/iTunes gift cards where you get the free 2 downloads... you know, as an iPod/iTunes lot... but eBay takes a lot for fees and then your sale price and everything... does anyone have a suggestion of someplace cheaper to sell it? It's a pretty good lot, I guess if you evaluate the iPod at $249, plus the $10 gift cert, then the songs of the day & the gift cards with free dls, it comes to a big value... any ideas would be appreciated... thanks in advance!:)

FYI

If you have an AMEX card, log in and view your statement. You should see a coupon for $100 off of $1000 purchase at the business store.

While the code will not work with your government, edu, etc. discount, it will work in the refurbs section.

If anyone has a coupon that would be great. Some background:

I already have a Powerbook, my wife an iBook. But, I am going to law school in August and I need to get a new laptop to last me through all 3 years. If anyone can help me out with any coupon, that would be superb!

As a student you already get an average of 20% off at the ed store. :eek:

20%? That's a pretty big exaggeration, because I didn't get nearly that much off of a computer, and from what I understand they have gone down in discounts, for instance, there is no discount on the iPod anymore.

Yes, the edu discount is less than 10% off. It take my order from $1499 to $1399. 20% is an exaggeration. But with no sales tax.....that's another story! :D

Depends on what you buy. Low end stuff is less, high end stuff is more.

Hey guys, I am hoping to be ordering my first Mac in almost 10 yrs tonight. Planning on getting the the best MBP possible atm as I really need it in Dec and even more so when next semester rolls around. I'd like to wait for Macworld, but I need one now more than I want the next one.

If anyone has a promo code I could use, it would be very much appreciated.
