Some Questions about Promo-Codes and Edu-Store

Do the 'normal' Promo-Codes also work in the Edu-Store ?

Or are any special Promo-Codes needed ?

If any special Codes are needed how can I get one ?
(I get only the 'normal' codes, although i subscribed the edu-newsletter and already ordered via the edu store)

My current laptop is starting to crap out of me, some of the keys are not working and it just doesn't have the processing power I need. Rather than bother upgrading I would rather buy a new one.

I miss not being being able to type a tilde, number six and dash. You don't know how much you need those keys until they are gone.
