I used to have a 21.5inch iMac and it served me well for a good few years. I always loved the glossy screen. When the M1 Mac mini came out, I thought it would be a good time to upgrade as I was working from home more and wanted an external monitor that would work with my work laptop. I got a Philips 27inch 1440p monitor and even though it was higher res than my iMac, I was left feeling a little bit disappointed. The colours didn't pop and it looked flat.

I decided to bite the bullet and buy the Studio Display as I write code all day and sharper text will be useful, having the mic and camera built in to my monitor will be useful for work meetings and it'll just work seamlessly with my work MacBook Pro.

Having now got it, it really is a huge upgrade from my 1440p monitor. It's incredibly expensive, but there aren't really many 5k alternatives, so as a productivity monitor, I think it'll do a great job.

Ordered ASD with standard glass and Tilt at 9:51 a.m. (UTC-8) on March 9. The order status has read delivery between May 6 - 20 until today, May 19, when I received a notification that delivery will now be between June 21 - 28.
My suspicion, based on quickly glancing at this thread, is that standard glass combined with Tilt mount adds additional wait time.

somewhere
My standard glass with height ordered on March 9th was just pushed from May 6-20 to June 21-28. I knew it was going to happen, surprised it took that long.
I ordered the same model on March 8 and being pushed back twice to June 6 to 13. It would be terrible if one ordered the Mac mini/Mac Studio and no display to use.

Very bad timing for me...my order currently says May 23-June 6th, but we sold our house and closing is on June 2nd. Wouldn't normally be too big an issue to just send it somewhere else, only problem is we are moving into a fifth-wheel travel trailer and will not have a permanent address.

Currently, I am having it sent to one of our stops in Arkansas to see my best friend and her family. That will be in mid-June. If it does get pushed back more, I'll have to change it to Arizona, as we will be there for some time visiting my parents and Grandma.

I feel like I might be chasing this thing around the US for the next couple months!

I have a Mac Studio (arrived the 12th) and waiting on my Studio Display 🥲
Estimated arrival says 18th May - 2nd June from beginning, never changed yet. Standard with adjustable inclination.
Apple have prolonged my testing period for the Apple Studio to 30 days from 14 days, as I have no other displays to test so all is fine with Studio Max. If the Display not arrive soon, they will stretch the testing period further my contact at Apple said.

I keep faith that it arrives soon 🙏🏼🍀

Do you mind posting your model, order date, and location?

Model of what?
That post says it regarding Studio Display. Regarding Mac Studio, it’s in my signature.
Ordered Studio Display 16 March. I am in Sweden.
Model of your studio display
standard vs. nano screen
stand: tilt vs. tilt/height vs. vesa

UK order but mine still says processing even though it is now impossible to make the end of the stated delivery period - well, unless they fly it here...[snip]

I've had no further updates from Apple since the 10th Mar 2022.

☕️

A small but potentially significant change in order status, albeit not from Apple, that suggests my order could possibly make it here by the end of the original order window (11 to 25 May). Several minutes ago Apple UK pulled the funds from my credit card:

There is hope I think.

I have a question about Apple store. I seem to be checking the status of my order constantly
From everyone’s experience here. Does order status get update live at anytime or only certain time(s) a day?

How in he%# can one of the worlds richest companies deliver a 20cm thunderbolt cord with a machine such as the Mac Studio to attach the Studio Display with?

That is nothing less than total insanity 😱

I saw it when I packed it up, I've heard about it too. But put away all stuff as I would't use until the ASD arrived. I am just saying, really cheap Apple 👎
Well, placed an order on 2 x 1,20 m tonight, so I'll be fine.

Edit: Ok, the thunderbolt cord to the ASD comes with the ASD.
So what this 22 cm cord is for, who knows - to whatever - I save my anger 🙏🏼
so thank you Apple for a 22 cm Thunderbolt cord.

It’s a meter isn’t it?
