I... ._. Don't care about that percentage.
The charts are the only thing I care about. And let's face the facts, okay? Because you know we have to deal with facts.
Fact: Apple just recently allowed their stock apps to be deleted. So any Apple apps we're seeing in the App Store now, are apps that were downloaded from the App Store.
Why aren't they higher up in the rankings? (I already know this.)
Alright lets try more facts.
1) The app store top charts are based on downloads and not those actively using the app. I have downloaded many google apps but I no longer have them on my phone, so I have contributed to the top chart stats, but not the actual usage of them. Therefore that is a variable that cannot be counted and your fact is no longer a fact and is a theory.
2) Apple apps can be hidden but not deleted. This is because many people don't like the clutter of stock apps, such as Tips, Podcasts, News, Stocks and so on. Some people have zero use for these apps. Therefore, this is another theory and not a fact.
3) Deleting stock apps does not give you the ability to assign new default apps. So therefore Apple does not want you to use third party apps for mail, safari and so on because otherwise they would give you the ability to change the default like macOS.
4) Because you are hiding stock apps and not actually deleting, they would not appear in the app store top charts ranking because you are not downloading anything from the server. These apps do not appear in the app store on iTunes, only if you are on your iOS device.
There we go. I just proved all your 'facts' as not facts.
