Hey All,
My sister had this issue, called Apple to complain - they wanted to charge her 1/2 the price of the phone to fix it, and so she bought ANOTHER one that ended up having the same issue. She of course called Apple AGAIN. Tried calling MANY times. I was on the phone for one of these calls and escalated, and told the Manager in no uncertain terms that they are CHEATING their customers by not owning up to this issue. My sister even emailed Tim Cook about this and got no response.
My sister ended up getting NO help from Apple whatsoever.
Welp, whatdoyaknow -> the class action is finally here! And guess what? My sister is NOT on the list for either phone. She DID complain to Apple, as I've said above.
She's been emailing the class action administrator and only gets form letters back. She called Apple and they just shrugged.
WHAT SHOULD SHE DO NOW?! WTF?!
