Oh no, this is gonna kickstart the 8GB RAM debate again. And here I thought it was just the price of RAM and storage that made people sick!

How would it be used for something invasive?i’m sure eye tracking is a feature that will only be used for good! i can’t imagine any scenario where that would be a feature that would be used for something incredibly invasive.
As someone with terrible motion sickness as well. Many of us are in cars a lot of the time, and look out the window, listen to music and talk to others in the car throughout. But in the real world one often has to look at phone, such as a message coming, directions, or 100x other things. And for people with bad motion sickness reading even briefly can cause terrible motion sickness. Especially for passengers who love to read. Being able to read briefly or longer as needed noticeable less motion sickeness would be a godsend. One could always ... "look out the window" ... "listen to music" ... "talk to others in the car" ...
I don't know... "live life" and not stare at your bloody device every nano second?
Just an idea..
Eye tracking is currently used on Apple Vision pro, and they have noted all the technical details how all that data remains on device, since of course others such as advertisers would give anything that have that valuable data. So when Facebook or Google offers a similiar functionality, I would also be worried about their particular implementation since unlike Apple, there businesses are based on advertising/tracking.i’m sure eye tracking is a feature that will only be used for good! i can’t imagine any scenario where that would be a feature that would be used for something incredibly invasive.
I do but sometimes you gotta check your phone and for me even briefly doing so can be an issue. One could always ... "look out the window" ... "listen to music" ... "talk to others in the car" ...

I do. Admittedly when I purchased it I didn't think much of the pro-motion display, but it is noticeable when I go back to older devices.Do you have an iPad Pro ?
The low response time of its LCD display induces motion sickness for me , I’m upgrading my M2 to M4 just because of that
Agreed. Video games are another one. Some games are beautifully crafted and tell a story just as well (or better) than books. While I like to do a bunch of things with my spare time, I don't get how some can decide what living is and isn't.So … staring out the window or listening to music is somehow considered "living", but staring at photos or watching a movie is not? Seems about the same to me.
There really isn't much "living" you can do while stuck in a car, IMO. Just pass the time until you get to the interesting part (probably the destination you're traveling to).
My wife can't even use her phone for directions, while I'm driving, without getting sick. If this means that she can help look at a map or find a phone number then it will be amazing. One could always ... "look out the window" ... "listen to music" ... "talk to others in the car" ...

I agree! Maybe this can eventually lead to helping Vertigo alsoThis is great. Usually I'm the one driving and not affected by this, but when I'm a passenger I have a hard time doing much of anything on the phone. 🤮
And to top it off the older I get the worse my motion sickness gets. 😄
Or maybe phone displays are getting worse...And to top it off the older I get the worse my motion sickness gets. 😄
Maybe you can let people decide for themselves and not being a prick in pretending that you have figured it all out already. One could always ... "look out the window" ... "listen to music" ... "talk to others in the car" ...

“Don’t look in this ⬇️ direction.”I agree! Maybe this can eventually lead to helping Vertigo also..
and i’m sure that’s something they’ll adhere to forever. because ultimately they care about me over profit.Eye tracking is currently used on Apple Vision pro, and they have noted all the technical details how all that data remains on device, since of course others such as advertisers would give anything that have that valuable data.
