They should've never gotten into the "content creation" business, and now Apple TV+ is quickly becoming an unmitigated disaster.
For me, I’ve found a number of shows that were really good. The movie Greyhound was outstanding. YMMV. HAND

Discovery is getting ever more difficult. Different shows on different channels, each channel is available as an app on a TV, as an app on a set-top box, as an app on a stick, as a channel within another app, as a website.
FWIW, as far as discovery goes, I usually get an idea of something I want to watch from elsewhere (friends, news, etc.), then look it up on justwatch.com (they have an app and a website), to see where it can be watched - if you tell them what services you subscribe to, they can give you a list of which ones have the show/movie, but it also works fine without logging in.

I’m sorry but that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever, you’d rather pay more because you don’t want to “pay for ‘games’ or fitness” 🤷🏻‍♂️🤪
Because I don’t want to support the games or fitness subs. If I pay for them, I am supporting them. Hopefully, Apple will find others like me who want a different subscription bundle and in the future offer some more choices.

If you think you’re not contributing to those services then you’re seriously mistaken.
Support is based on numbers using a particular service within a bundle and not he overall bundle subscription numbers.
All subscription funds just get put into a big pot and still gets distributed to pay for those other services.
All that’s happening is you’re paying them more money when you don’t have to which still funds those other services regardless.
If you don’t want to support Games or Fitness then you just don’t use them, couldn’t be any simpler than that.
Each to their own I suppose.

Hopefully this means, Amazon will start selling Apple TV 4K boxes again. These used to and then they stopped. Amazon tends to have sales on Apple products so unless Apple offers some discounts or incentives, i'll wait for an Amazon discount.

They’ve been selling Apple TV 4K boxes for quite some time now, since at least November 2022 (bought mine from Amazon in December 2022)

Thanks for that but I should have mentioned the US store.
I thought that I had seen new ones in the US store - just that they tend to go out of stock for a week or three and then come back in stock. I had hoped that them being out of stock meant there might be a refresh in the coming months. Seems not. I would really like to ditch my Roku, but I want a new Apple TV, not a 2-year old model or whatever the current one is.
