That doesn't mean anything. The availability of any item in BestBuy's inventory or on their site is not an indication of Apple product releases.cool but do a regular search - can't find it that way
http://www.amazon.com/Apple-MC572LL-A-TV/dp/B001FA1NK0walmart and amazon are sold out / not available.
You're still trying to create information. The fact remains that the inventory of any Apple reseller, including Amazon, WalMart, BestBuy, etc. is not necessarily an indication of any imminent Apple product release. There may or may not be a release around the corner, but the inventory of those companies fluctuates, including being empty, without new product releases being imminent.*AMAZON* is not selling. Those are Amazon Marketplace sellers.![]()
Let the rumors begin!

I'm not sure part of his post you're replying to. No where has he suggested that a refreshed or new Apple TV-type product is being released in the immediate future.
His post merely calls for speculation. Which is arguably the essence of MR and its forums.
And the point is that the mere absence of a particular product at any given point in time from any reseller(s)' inventory is not a sufficient foundation on which to base any speculation. You can just as easily (and accurately) speculate that a new Mac Pro will be released next week, because there are none available at the nearest grocery store. His post merely calls for speculation.

AppleInsider reports that its daily tracking of Mac availability from a number of third-party resellers is showing signs of dwindling supplies of Apple's MacBook Air, suggesting that a refresh may be approaching in the relatively near future, perhaps as early as next week.
9 to 5 Mac reports that multiple sources, presumably resellers, have noted that supplies of the current-generation iMacs are showing as "constrained", limiting restocking orders. The development is a common one as Apple draws down supplies ahead of the introduction of new models.

This development is also common in the absence of new model introductions, which is why it's not a reliable indicator. The same goes for inventory of Apple Refurbs. I can't begin to count the number of times over the years I've seen people get excited because of low inventory from these sources, only to be disappointed when a few days or weeks later, inventory is replenished and no new models were released. If you want to believe it, go ahead. You may be right this time; you may not.The development is a common one as Apple draws down supplies ahead of the introduction of new models.

I was getting ready to pull trigger on a second Apple TV for the den, especially now that AirPlay mirroring is coming, but Amazon is dry. With multiple vendors showing diminished inventory, I am betting a refresh that works with 1080P is coming with the new iPad in a few weeks. I can wait a few weeks to see what shakes out.

You're trying way to hard to disprove something initially declared to be a fun rumor on a rumor site forum. And btw, almost everything you said so far was wrong. Retailers inventory has historically been indicators to a product refresh. The store links you created are NOT for new/available products. And using big words doesn't make someone sound like an expert. You're still trying to create information.
