Darn skippy!Masters of Air is really good so far! Bravo to Apple for taking on that project.

You just admitted you still won't pay a penny for anything. Reminds me of my mother, whose favorite saying was, "we're going to wind up in the Poor House!" She died in 2009 with 6 million dollars unspent. Some would call that smart; I call it tragic.doesn't make sense to come to that conclusion ... I've actually had 2 free trials of ATV+ and watched some content ...
you'll just have to accept that some people do not want to spend $$ on TV shows they wouldn't watch in the first place
YESSI haven't looked at Apple TV streaming service for a while but they are starting to have a decent lineup of shows... I'll probably pass on Argylle tho...
If I want to watch a silly spy themed movie... Id have preferred an Austin Powers sequel... now that would have been hilarious.
Imagine FB advertising for Apple TV... what have they been brewing up... take a whiff of that... everyone loves their own brew... and I'm sure Apple love theirs 😆

Please don’t put words into my mouth, that’s not a nice thing to do.You just admitted you still won't pay a penny for anything. You must have missed Slow Horses in December? And they announced another new season too!I am disappointed not to see confirmation of a second season of Silo, Severance, and Slow Horses. I know they are coming, but apparently not until the very end of 2024 at the earliest. Sad.
Clearly filming has happened. They showed some footage at the end of season 3.Slow Horses is confirmed as they showed sneak peaks at the end of this years season. But it is a shame it's not confirmed yet. I don't know what their filming schedule is like though, but they have managed 1 season a year so far.
Yeah, all of the Apple TV shows I like won’t be returning until next year. Those shows are For All Mankind, Monarch Legacy of Monsters, Silo, Foundation, Invasion, Hijack and Shining Girls. That last one may have just been one season. Once Masters of the Air and Constellation end their first seasons, I won’t know how to justify paying ten bucks a month until next year. I’m also waiting for season three of Tehran, but Apple didn’t mention it today and I’m wondering if the current Middle East conflict has something to do with the delay.Nothing compelling enough for me to pay a penny … YMMV
Looks like Severance has been cut. 😃don't see Severance on there 😞
It only just started to be filmed again.don't see Severance on there 😞
You left out the very, very important Foundation, which I understand Apple did announce a season 3.

While I do not agree with the commercial implications of your conclusion, there is a good reason to keep people subscribed week after week to finish a show, your analysis is spot on.Now if Apple would only understand that people that like streaming services also like to binge watch their shows, they’d really have something. This once a week crap really sucks. I can never remember all the things that happened in a show a week ago (this was fine 10 years ago and there weren’t 15 plot lines to follow and so many cool things to catch). Nobody stands around talking about streaming shows, some haven’t started watching, some aren’t caught up. This made sense when shows were broadcast and you Had to watch them at the time, or not watch them. Just release all the episodes at once, Apple is only hurting their stats with this, because so many people start watch then forget about it, or like me, realize they aren’t all released then stop watching until they all are. So it looks like people are loosing interest in the show.
Hey, you opened the door. I just walked through it.Please don’t put words into my mouth, that’s not a nice thing to do.

I'm not going to hold on to a subscription because its being released weekly though, in fact it's more of a reason for me to cancel the subscription and wait until the shows I watch have a all episodes for a Season released. (Apple TV+ is part of a bundle so I'm probably not going to cancel that.) I would also consider 1-2 episodes a day binge watching. While I do not agree with the commercial implications of your conclusion, there is a good reason to keep people subscribed week after week to finish a show, your analysis is spot on.
We watch one show a day, on average four days a week. I assume we are not alone with this TV viewing habit. That's exactly one season every two weeks. Normalising for 6 weeks holidays, that's 23 TV shows that we watch per year. The average household has 3 subscriptions/channels (Netflix, plus two of Apple, Amazon, Disney, BBC, Paramount, HBO, etc), so that's 7 TV shows per service per year. Say Netflix has double the production capacity of the others, each Service will have to pump out 5 shows per year for each household demographic. If Apple launches one every two months as a box set, that should keep subscriber numbers up.
