I'm not going to hold on to a subscription because its being released weekly though, in fact it's more of a reason for me to cancel the subscription and wait until the shows I watch have a all episodes for a Season released. (Apple TV+ is part of a bundle so I'm probably not going to cancel that.) I would also consider 1-2 episodes a day binge watching.
Good point. Savvy users will only have one subscription at a time, which they keep for two months to watch all box sets they want to watch (roughly 4 shows if they watch one episode per night), then cancel until the following year and do it all over again with the new seasons.

“cut” is better - avoiding the repetition inherent in using a variant of the original word form, “Severance”, whilst both referencing the original word form, as a synonym, and utilising the usage of ‘cut’ as a common term for the cancellation of a TV show (which, hopefully, “Severance” has not been). Admittedly, using ‘cut’ requires a little more brainwork on the part of the reader; in recompense for the brainwork which went into the rationale of the writer. But thank you for your editorial suggestion. I hope you do not think I am ‘severing’ you short. See what I mean about repetition (rhetorical). /s

no, I understood what you meant. It was an acknowledgement of the synonym.

Watched E4 of Masters of the Air last night, and I don't know ..

It just isn't doing it for me

(I say this as someone who LOVED Memphis Belle and this genre overall)

The writing just seems all over the place and we don't really have one overarching real plot or story to hang onto.

It feels like a show made to show off the in-air CGI and very pretty actors

Yeah Exactly Re The Writing...Definitely Not Band of Brothers level writing, which developed multiple Level Story-Lines about Character's that carried through multiple episodes and off course the Acting!

I don't understand this with Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg producing it

Did they really just lend their name to it, because both of them should know this isn't very good

I know the Project was in Development Hell for a long time, I think it was supposed to be originally at HBO but ended up at . So maybe a case of too many Cooks in the Kitchen...I know with BOB I was having Flashbacks during the Basic Training and Parachuting Scene's.

I'll probably take a break from subscribing to ATV+ after this month. Too many shows have been delayed (on other streaming sites as well) in part due to the SAG strike. I'd rather use the money towards Max for the June release of House of the Dragon.
