I have never seen Apple release updates this late in the day.

I have a couple times (once on a friday after I got home from work, and I live in CA). Wish I could remember what they were now... I cant recall what software it was...

Nope, its been on the site for a few days now,the link to it has become more apparent though, appearing on the us startpage in the last couple of hrs

As the starter of this thread, I can't stress enough how dissapointed I am in all of you who posted or read this thread. You all obviously didn't wish for the update enough, otherwise the powers that be in Cupertino would have been willed into releasing the update.
