So as Leebroath says, you can buy an Apple Watch from anywhere and then once you’ve set it up, you can call EE and set up an account for a data plan with them and then you just give them the long EID number and you’ll be up and running within 10 minutes.

If you've never had a watch plan with EE before you can do it all in the Watch app on your iPhone - you don't need to call EE with the EID. It's only when you want to change the watch on your existing watch plan that you need to call EE.

Finally got around to pairing my new Ultra 2 today so unpaired my old SS Series 7 (removed the plan) and then paired my new watch.....called EE when I got to that stage and the tech support person knew exactly what to do, took the new EID and I was up and running in less than 15 mins.....didn't try and mess around with the contract etc, smoothest its ever gone (I've had series 3,5 and 7 before, all cellular and its been a right pain)

Well happy with the Ultra 2

Pretty much the same with my black U2 last Saturday. EE really have got it sussed. I had the S4 and S7 cellular previously.

I was hoping to pick up a new AWU2 on Friday, but it looks like the order times mean I won’t be able to get it for a few weeks. Is an Apple shop likely to have stock if I just turn up?

Also, I can’t work this out, does blood oxygen still work in the U.K.?

Edit: I’ve just realised it wasn’t the exact strap I wanted, they’ve got other straps I’d be happy with available before

Was anyone able to use gift cards/Apple balance when pre-ordering? It doesn't seem to work for me on the app, or website, but I did do a mock order for some AirPods and it would have let me use gift cards for those.
Yes I used a gift card but it doesn’t show up in the processing screen though the gift card balance is now £0 so it’s been applied. I assume it’ll be applied once it leaves the processing stage and payment gets taken

Every day I’ve been looking to order a series 10 (titanium) with a couple of bands but the dates have been the back end of October.
Until now. I put it down to the band choices but now there are several Apple stores with pickup from tomorrow, so order placed to collect it tomorrow.
I expect there has been a huge delivery which might help anyone looking like I was.

A few weeks ago, I ordered a Series 10 42mm Jet Black with a slate Milanese loop for my wife. At the time, the estimated delivery was between October 18-25, and I was under the impression that it might arrive earlier. However, it hasn’t even moved to the "preparing to ship" stage yet. Is this delay normal?
