A cynical person might think they always knew the trail loop would be most popular, so they intentionally delayed supply just to sell an extra $100 band to everyone that didn’t want to wait a month plus to get the Ultra. 😁

Best bet is to try daily for store pickup.
There might be a site out there that scrapes inventory to tell you what is available. Probably not for the 23rd though.
So I decided to cancel my order for the 41mm 8 which was to ship 10/31 and went to the 45mm to ship tomorrow. I’m sad because I will def need new watch bands but I really intend to keep this one longer!
Wish I had jumped on this sooner, but hopefully I’ll only have to wait one week, not two.

Once our orders move to process we should start seeing some movement to 'Preparing For Shipment' over the weekend. This usually happens Saturday evening or Sunday afternoon (PST time).

Once this happens you should be able to get details on your phone and let the tracking begin!
Here are some notes to help track orders:
If your Apple Watch status has changed to "Shipped", you can view the invoice on the Apple site.
That invoice has the serial number on it.
Go to Apple.com, then pick the ORDERS page (the little "shopping bag" icon at the far right on the homepage... go to your orders page). Now, log in, find your Apple Watch order... and click on Print All Invoices to see your shiny new Apple Watch serial number.

Hopefully because when I finally decided to order it today mine is shipping 9/26-9/30
Usually early in the morning.
But it’s worth noting that last time I bought in-store on launch day, they had separate stock for walk-ins which did not appear as inventory on the site. This lasted the whole weekend. So if you check online and it says they don’t have it, that might not be accurate. Best bet is to go in person.
What's the difference between Space Black and Graphite? Is one of these a typo? The 'Compare' page only shows Graphite for a dark Stainless Steel, but the shop lists both Graphite and Space Black options. They look identical.
Mine left China yesterday and says it'll arrive on the 22nd, but I'm hoping it'll come early. Does anyone know how long it takes to get from China to the UK?
I think you will find Space Black is Hermes, it is space black but the picture doesnt reflect that
It is tough to get a fixed shipping time from China. It all depends on how long it sits in customs. The last time I did this we had them stuck a while and suddenly hundreds of posts from people who got cleared all at once.
Are you in Canada? Pretty sure it doesn’t take long. If it’s in the country you should get it today.
Edit: Mine said the same thing. Now it’s out for delivery!
