Do you plan on ordering the new Apple Watch Series 7 (2021) this September?

Ordered immediately and got Midnight Blue 45mm for Oct. 15 delivery. My Apple Card has not been hit and status still says Processing. Nothing showing up in UPS or Fedex either.

That’s odd, I bought the same Watch right after 8:00 EST but I paid with a debit card. I don’t know how that would make a difference though

AOD will probably be one of the features I turn off as I don’t see a benefit.
Everyone said the same when the s5 was about to first come out with AOD - everyone planned to turn it off right away, and nobody thought they would like it. Then their new watches came, they tried it, and most ended up liking it much better than just a black watch. Keep an open mind - you might feel the same.

Mine is still showing processing for an in store pick up on Friday. I am worried I am not going to dig the Starlight Silver. I'm going to show up a couple of hours early before the store opens and hopefully grab a SS and cancel my order. .

@beach bum, Not to worry! Some of us are still here. We are just traveling in different times this time around. Yes, expecting ALL to join for iPhone 14 launch. We will all reunite again 😱

@LFC2020 that 1TB is coming for you. Hope you are saving mad Australian $$😆
I’m trying to decide if I’m going to be patient or stalk my local Apple stores for pickup availability over the weekend 🤣. So far I‘ve managed to hold off on that since my S4 is still working really well. I opted to trade in my S4, but now I’m on the fence if I want to hold onto it… UGH! 🥺 Will probably do the trade since both are the SS models with GPS + Cellular. I’ll figure it out eventually. 😁

Not me, and there are many others like me I'm sure. The main reason I bought S5 was because of AOD. Trying to turn my wrist the right way on my S3 to get the screen to show got real annoying real fast.

I love my AOD on my 5, if I switch ans put on my SS3 it drives me nuts not being able to look down and not see the time unless I bring my arm up. The AOD is one of the best features they ever added.

This is definitely the upgrade feature I'm looking forward to the most. It's annoying during a workout when it won't turn on or I'm in some yoga movement or have to "boop" it with my nose to see where I'm at for HR/time/etc. :D

Except for 2 in office days a week, I WFH now, so it's easy just to pop it on a charger a couple of times a day anyway. I'm keeping all the bells and whistles on for my S7.

Go to activate or switch device in your My Verizon panel, it should get it done there. You'll need the IMEI from the new watch.
Thanks! Should I just unpair my current watch first, or are their extra steps before unpairing. I am sure it will walk me through it when I start the process. Just trying to see what I can find out before starting. lol.

Unpair on friday, it will backup first. Then restore to new watch :)

If you are using cellular, do a google, there's a little more effort required (that may include having to phone up with the stupidly long number on the watch for them to switch it - at least thats what EE UK seems to need a bit too often).

Edit: Arrgh, posts keep appearing that were posted earlier but not showing.

Supposed to be collecting mine from store on Friday but COVID just scuppered that plan. 😞

Anyone know if they hang onto it for awhile if you don’t collect?
From a previous apple store pickup email - you have 14 days from when it’s ready for pickup. You should verify this when you get your watch pickup email, but it’s pretty standard for them I think.

How long do I have to collect my order?

We will hold your items for 14 days, after which they will be cancelled and refunded.

I was given only 3 days to go collect my S7 from the Apple store of my choice. Not being able to go on Friday, I chose Saturday afternoon. I could’ve also chosen Sunday but I couldn’t see any other further option. Call them and see what they say. Good luck!

S6 or are you from the future?! 🤣

This is somewhat off topic , but I am finding it tough to sell my Series 6 titanium as a lot of sites don’t even have the titanium models as a selection and some don’t have Series 6 as a selection.
