So @LFC2020 got me thinking about leather links. This is my black on my new S7, what colour would you go for next? I can get a 44mm Baltic on the UK Apple store but I was thinking the dark cherry or new green. Leaning towards the cherry as I kept my S5 SSG and I think it would match that perfectly...more than the SS Silver?

Today I ordered SS gold 45mm, delivery dates are showing 5 Dec to 9 Dec,
Anyone getting earlier than estimated dates or Apple follow strictly this dates.

My watch from Currys was sent in a Jiffy bag.

Ugh, at least this was shipped to store. It’s a very convenient way to get stuff, and also not have to worry about delivery slot windows!

Has anyone here got shipping from DHL to UK? My tracking hasn’t got an estimated date although Apple still say 27th - surely since it’s already shipped it’s going to be here sometime next week?

I got a DHL sms Thursday AM advising me item picked up. DHL hasn’t updated the tracking since then!

Apple Store still telling me delivery expected between 19-21 this coming week. But no official estimated delivery date yet on the DHL tracking….surely it’s not been sat in China since Thursday AM? Maybe we will see more updates tomorrow!

Nice combo you got there 👌 can’t beat silver stainless steel and a black leather watch band.

Waiting on my midnight leather band to arrive, hopefully I can find a Baltic blue 44mm leather band somewhere, apple is only selling the 40 mm over here. 🤦‍♂️ then I might have a break for a while, already got 2 solo loops, 1 sport loop and a midnight leather band on the way. 🤦‍♂️😂

I would definitely grab the Baltic blue band, looks amazing with the silver stainless steel.

AO sent mine in a plastic mailer bag - the two man delivery crew had to move a massive TV and a fridge freeze once they’d located it in the van full of appliances - about ten minutes in total 😁

Like how they put the watch in that little pouch, makes the unboxing experience that little bit more special.

Especially when it doesn’t want to come out. I don’t remember to have such a hard time to get my S4 to come out of the pouch.

Especially when it doesn’t want to come out. I don’t remember to have such a hard time to get my S4 to come out of the pouch.

I opened my S7 over the sofa on the off chance it popped out and launched forward lol.

Had the exact same problem with mine lol, thought I was going to scratch mine, that’s how hard it was to get out of that damn pouch.

You got a fancy red pouch, I got a cheap looking grey pouch. 😂

Been tempted with another LL for ages, as well as the Hermes Circuit H band....the LL was cheaper and would pass the "Oh didn't I mention I bought that darling" wife test when quizzed how much I had spent on "Your Apple obsession"

Dark cherry looks absolutely lux on the silver (and all colors really) SS models! See this video for a good example of the dark cherry leather link and braided loop being modeled:

If I could afford an apple watch and particularly cared to own one, that’s what I want 😻.

You wouldn’t have that problem if you order a titanium model next year .

Remember the time when the Apple Watch pouch was made out of microfiber cloth. Apple is really trying to save as much as they can. I’ll let you know what I’ll have inside the titanium Watch

So my watch has gone from Shanghai to South Korea and due for delivery on Tuesday, whereas my elderly neighbour ordered his from Amazon for next day delivery! I had my order confirmation 1 minute after preorders went live as well.
He asked me to set it up for him last night, definitely a nice blue and screen looks great!
Ah well, he only has the sport band and I’ve got the sport loop
