Today is the end of the 3rd day I am using my first Apple Watch, a series 7 cellular 41mm aluminum starlight.
What can I say for now:
- paying with the watch is sooooooooooo comfy
- running with only the watch is soooo comfy as well. Glad I bought the cellular version, so I can stream music with it
- think I am glad I choosed the 41mm version, fits to my small wrist very well
- I am ADDICTED to watch bands!!! They are really also lots of very good 3rd party bands ... love it. My collection will getting HUGE
The only downside is the battery life. Thankfully we have fast charging now, so it doesn't hurt too much.
What can I say about my decision for an aluminum version and the color starlight? I still think I love it. But to be honest - I also love all of the photos you have posted! SS looks great in silver and graphit. Not sure about the look of the Ti models, guess you have to see it in person. To be honest - I think ALL models look great.

Had one pre-ordered but it wouldn‘t ship till November, happened to be on the Apple Store app yesterday and saw a 45MM stainless steel at my local store and grabbed it for in store pickup and canceled my pre-order.
I returned the set since I picked up a graphite SS via ISPU. If I wanted to keep the watch and return the band that wouldn’t have been possible. I would have had to return the entire set since it’s sold as a set.
I've worn my Solos a TON, and never had an issue at all. They are absolutely the most comfortable for me.
I’ve gotten one with my watch, my first solo loop. True it’s very comfortable when on but a PITA to get on ! The size is good , I hade tried them in store before.
Went to my appointment this morning to pick up my watch and the store was packed! Was able to not only swap the graphite Milanese band for the silver, but I was also able to trade in my S4 at the same time. Once the rep got everything processed, he then applied the trade in value to my purchase! 😁
I’ve always had SS so I won’t go on and on about how absolutely beautiful it is 🤩😁 While I was there, I asked to be fitted for the sport/braided loop which was a good thing because the downloaded paper guide was off by 2 points. Was able to take a few pictures of the bands, and it is much better seeing them in person.
The store I went to didn’t have the midnight leather loop bands in stock for the 45mm so I placed an order and it should arrive by Wed. I also think that I want to order the saddle as well. The midnight leather loop looks black with a hint of blue, and the leather feels so soft! I think that the leather loops just might be my favorite.

Glad you are happy with the Milanese! I was originally going to go with one but… it was slightly painful on my arm so I ended up going with a Clover Solo band, however, I really liked the Sequolia Green Leather Link so I decided to order that one off Amazon since my local Apple Store was sold out and I didn’t want to drive 30-45 minutes but I’m still gonna keep the Clover Solo for swimming! I felt so bad for the guy helping me at the Apple Store I think I spent 45 minutes trying on bands….
My watch has moved from South Korea to the UAE now. Getting closer
I thought my watch was on UPS11 but the scans now indicate it’s on UPS29 from South Korea to Cologne via UAE. It should arrive in plenty of time to catch UPS232 heading for East Midlands. Should be in the U.K. early hours tomorrow morning.
I use my InstantPot for rice, comes out perfectly very time. Before that, I cooked it on the stove. I've never even used a rice cooker!

White Apple Sports Band with Blue S7 41. Loving this new blue. Hoping everyone else is loving their new watches and those waiting on delivery gets theirs sooner than expected.

Seriously, Apple needs to do something about this. Stock should not be gone in 60 seconds on a launch. They need to build up more inventory before being in a rush to put them on pre-order.

As another poster pointed out earlier, I wanted to check out the titanium models but was told that it is only carried in the premier Apple stores. Ok, didn’t know that…🤔
Keep trying. I found the casing I wanted yesterday for a pickup this morning, but it wasn’t the band that I wanted. Still placed the order, and was able to swap bands. The rep didn’t even blink or tell me that it wasn’t possible; just “Sure, let me see if we have it in stock and if so, I‘ll have someone bring it over.”
The Dark Cherry Leather Link looks phenomenal on either SSG or SS silver...I am in love with mine.

It's not that big of a deal, its only a few weeks. But this whole process annoys me. The way Apple does this, it reeks of creating hype more than practicality.
It's a trick, she's trying to bait me into buying the band lol.
