Stop being paranoid. Apple has never asked me for proof for a EDU purchase when I pick up in store. The staff will only see the product that they need to give you, not how much you've paid for it.

Whats your issue? You want to pick up and not get it delivered? To use EDU in store you would have to take a student with you as they check?

Since my order is 4-5 weeks away, I’ve been put in the $1 transaction basket with you lol, that’s why I’m not seeing a pending charge on my bank account, once our shipping date moves forward, we’ll see a pending charge for the full amount on our account. 👌

Nope! As excited as I am, I’m not too bothered with it for some reason—maybe it’s because our dates are so far out. However, should I find one for ISPU, I will be like a kid in a candy store 😁.
