Shame they couldn't jump straight to 3nm. Especially if they keep the same chip for another 3 years.
Sadly it's a trend in general when it comes to electronics. It makes you wonder why they do yearly updates if there hasn’t been any notable change since Series 4 except for the Always On Display.
3nm (as N3B) is still very expensive I guess. With transition to N3E next year we can expect more affordable waffers.Shame they couldn't jump straight to 3nm. Especially if they keep the same chip for another 3 years.
It works but it is ugly. I know this is personal preference, but when I see an Apple Watch I see a gadget, not a watch. It is a utility, not an adornment. If you are waiting for a round one, I feel you will be waiting a very long time. Why change what works?
Battery lifeA performance boost is a welcome improvement. Nothing else really need to be improved.
I think Series 6 was a significant update. It makes you wonder why they do yearly updates if there hasn’t been any notable change since Series 4 except for the Always On Display.
Holding out for the new design that’s never coming.
Current one is ugly AF.What do you want a new design for? There's nothing wrong with the current one. It's not going to look noticibly different, people are going to notice you've got the "new one" on your wrist.
It really isn't. It's just an inoffensive rectangle shape.Current one is ugly AF.
Wonder if we'll ever see what S7** was rumored to be

or if scrapped / was never real in first place
I have the AW6 cellular as well. It was so bad on cellular that I cancelled the plan and shut it off! That was my first and last cellular AW unless they can come up with amazing real world battery life improvements on it.Battery Life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My S6 can’t make it out when cellular is on.
barely enough when wifi is on
It hasn’t changed ?It‘s coming, like clockwork, every three years. So, 2024.
How much did the new battery cost you? Mine died.Still very happy with my Apple Watch Series 4. I just got a new battery. Every year, I think the new model will convince me to upgrade, but so far I’ve been unimpressed with the new features.
Always on from Series 5 is really a game changer. So is the Ultra.Boo that's a shame
I'm still rocking the Series 4 and have been waiting out on a new design.
I think the only thing that would sway me would a *much* better battery, not sure we'll see that though..
