I agree with this. It would be a miracle if anyone receives their Apple Watch Ultra before Friday. Apple is very strict about it.
I think customs clearance is in AK, so that’s probably a half day sitting while they do their thing.

UPS will hold it until release day. Almost certainly. This is a common error, which is not really surprising as it's a computer + UPS. Which is like dumb and dumberer.

I just realized I will be gone all day Friday taking my friend to medical appts. Hope they allow a pre-sign form (like they did with iPhones) so I can have them drop it for me.

Yes sir! The band shipment dates have been improved to October tho. It looks like Apple Watch Ultra did not face delays in order right away.
I ordered the watch while Tim Cook was still on the screen I think lol. But decided to order the yellow ocean band a couple of days later.

How tho? The Apple.com store did not come live until after the Apple Event was over. Did you get lucky and got in early on?
My September 29 to October 6 delivery date just bumped to October 4 through October 11. Looks like they are already running into supply constraints.
Got movement on mine too! In my rush to place my watch order with Verizon I ordered the wrong size band. I originally ordered with the Orange Alpine loop. Probably due to separate inventory and Apple Watches are more expensive in the UK? I wonder if that has anything to do with it.
Possibly. But I don’t think there’s any spare stock around at the moment and will be coming in from China. I will try and reserve one at my Apple Store on Friday with a couple of other bands as well 🙂
I kept trying the Apple Store app and it opened up in the last seconds of the keynote.
