I like this tip. My only worry is I currently have an online order in from 9/8 where I used my GC's as part of the checkout. If I enter them in the app for an account balance but I don't score one today, will that online order for late-Oct still ping my account balance even though the GC's would show as $0?

I went through this with my AirPods Pro 2 order. Used 3 gift cards for the AirPods (I usually add them to my balance). I then scanned the last gift card to add to my Apple ID Balance, which in theory should have had a balance of $6.44.

It caused my AirPods Pro 2 order to go on hold because the entire gift card was added to my Apple ID Balance.

Yep. I was going to do the same with the AirPods pre-order, but said "hey, you have these gift cards, use them."

Apple was quick to straighten it out though.

Mine looks exactly the same, this morning I got an email saying that it delivers on the 28th. A little after that UPS showed a delivery date of Monday the 26th, but now it is “The delivery date will be provided as soon as possible.” 🤞

I experienced the same issue as late as last night. This morning, I now have an ETA of Monday via UPS Tracking.

The only available bands in large were literally the green and starlight alpine lol, I snagged a starlight alpine in large and AP2 because why not, will give them a shot

Also as expected, no trail bands in sight, they simply weren't ready to drop that one

I’m getting more and more curious to know who dropped the ball on the trail loops. I feel like we didn’t even see any on the review units.

All AWU unavailable for pick ups at Indiana, Ohio ,KY and IL. Tf!!

Was the same in central FL at 7:45 EST. Not a single configuration available. No matter type, color or size.

Shortly thereafter all configs available with exception of trail loops.

Ok I ended up going a little wild, cancelled the starlight and went with the green large alpine band AND ordered the orange in medium (no large available) to try on and if It fits then I'll return the green and if it doesn't I'll keep the green

They loaded up sold out, never even went on sale anywhere

The trail bands that went on sale with the watch itself were available for launch day shipping for all of about 5 minutes then got pushed way out, it's just a massive manufacturing backorder, they never had enough to begin with I think

Not a single reviewer even had one and that's not something apple would just do, especially for the running specific reviewers

SOOOO.... I canceled my preorder but Idk how long it takes for the pre-authorization takes to go off of my Apple card so I'm not getting the AWU today, maybe tomorrow
