I always laugh when Gurman writes these stories. Apple is a $3T company with over 160K employees. Employees will come and go. Unless it’s Tim Cook or one of his directs there’s nothing newsworthy about it.
what exactly happened? an employee leaving the company, that is a very normal process ...This is what happens when Marketing runs the company.
yep, but Apple is doomed now ...I always laugh when Gurman writes these stories. Apple is a $3T company with over 160K employees. Employees will come and go. Unless it’s Tim Cook or one of his directs there’s nothing newsworthy about it.
It is not. At that level, you keep you mouth shut, your eyes down, and your opinions to yourself, unless they support the meetings managers company politics. Normally, you really have to sell your soul at that level. I'm sure there are some exceptions, but not many.right? I worked in two different stores over 10 years and really really wish I knew what it was like to be so high up and be in those meetings, making those decisions etc.
must’ve been super interesting. when I left both stores I was like damn… can’t believe it.
and they have contingency plans for this. I seem t recall a MR story about Tim Cook taking about contingency, they have that in place not only for him but all VPs and then someI always laugh when Gurman writes these stories. For that one time a year when I want to plug in headphones, I just use the USB-C port. It’s not difficult. How many people here want to use the USB-C AND a headphone jack at the same time? I’m guessing nearly none.Maybe it is maybe it isn't. It's possible the headphone jack was removed for another reason like fitting in a bigger battery. All I know is they got rid of it, it was a stupid move, and it should come back especially as wired headphones especially hifi ones are becoming popular again

Engineering is a 90% male fieldBecause anyone you get who's not a "new 'guy'" is a "whatsit", right? Listen to yourself.
Yes, but will it thrill and amaze me??Pretty sure I'd be able to handle this role.
My ideas for next years iPhone are a slightly better camera, might throw on another button, and I'll tweak the internals so they are 3% faster in selected benchmarks, and it will be "The best iPhone we've ever made"
yeah he said that in his most recent sit-down with Dua Lipa I’m pretty sure.and they have contingency plans for this. I seem t recall a MR story about Tim Cook taking about contingency, they have that in place not only for him but all VPs and then some
that never comeing back wish full thinking there the days of the head phone jack are long long long long goneThis is our chance. Time to begin the subliminal messaging on the new hardware team to get the headphone jack back

I wonder who his successor is.
I had a horrible experience with airpods pro got the crackling sound and apple did not wanted to replace it so i dont think I will ever buy new ones again, and a lot of people got the same issue so no they won’t be selling themselves...by selling AirPods? I mean the AirPods already sell themselves lmao.
You misspelled resigningTime for Tim to start designing.
This is good news.
iPhone 15 Pro was almost the same phone as the 14 Pro.
They need someone to speed up progress and innovation.
you know what this means.. iphone 16-25 are going to be 90% identitical to iphone 15.
Jeff Williams clearly. He’s been doing more and more and there’s been lots of speculation and evidence to suggest this.yeah he said that in his most recent sit-down with Dua Lipa I’m pretty sure.
