Is it legit lol? Seems to look great but hows quality. I'm ready to order if its good

Looked pretty good at first glance, but upon taking a closer look, the fitting of the Pencil and symmetrical proportions are totally off. The stitching is quite uneven as well. However, can't really argue at $8 :p

haha, good catch. I guess they must think they're....Apple? :D;)

I'm tempted very tempted to get that leather sleeve for my 12.9 iPad especially with the pencil holder. What is holding me back is the price tag I think $149 is way too steep. Anyone here bought it? If so is it worth the tag? Any photos? Especially with the iPad in place?

Thanks for any help
Yeah I'm thinking about thing is the price is pretty steep. I was looking at the pack yeah about buying one myself but the thing is the price is pretty steep. I was looking at the pack and smooch sleeve but for some reason I keep looking back at the iPad Pro leather sleeve that I can get from the base exchange with no tax.

I purchased the Apple Leather Sleeve in black and love it. I am using it primarily at home, so that I can prop my iPad against a variety of surfaces, without scratching it. I also like that I can place the sleeve on the counter and place my iPad on top of the sleeve when I am charging it.

I don't take the IPP out of the house often, but when I do, it may be condusive to place both the IPP and the sleeve in my SFbags leather Muzetto bag.

I don't understand the over concern with price. If people are using the 12.9 (cellular) with the ASK and decent storage, they are spending in excess of $1000 already. Moreover the price is competitive with others like Pad and Quill or SFbags, for their high end leather sleeves.

This is my second sleeve. I found a slight variability regarding how snug the fit was.

I've also bought one of the cheap leather sleeves from ebay.
Got mine on friday, took about 2 1/2 weeks to get to germany. For 10 Euros I actually like it a lot. I did not want to spend over 100 bucks for a sleeve and to be honest, I did not expect much from it.

I can even fit my iPad Pro 10.5 with a backcover and the ASK in it. With both attached it looks a bit bulky but well, it does fit.

End up getting it? Where was the USA seller?

I did, and they shipped in a thin plastic bag. As you might guess, it was damaged. The faux leather was dented and creased. So I asked for a replacement but they have no stock. Instead, they let me keep it and gave me a refund.

I presume these are all the same regardless of which eBay seller you use. Not having held or seen an actual Apple case, I would say that this case is good for $14. Smooth feel but not a leather feel. The inside has a microfiber like material that is soft. Pencil fits in the slot fine. For $130 vs $14 it is worth a try. I would try and get stateside and insisted the seller pack it well.

I did find some videos on how to remove creases from faux leather and it minimized them but it did not remove 100%.

Does it matter that much? Its 8 Euro. But for that price, yes I feel its quality enough. Dont forget, these cases are not meant for protection. If you drop it with the iPad inside you risk damage. Same is true of the Apple case.

I would prefer an Incase Icon with Tensaerlite. But they dont intend to make one for the iPad Pro 10.5

The 9.7 case fits the 10.5 easily, even with a Smart Cover. Not sure about the ASK though...

I got the 10.5 leather sleeve at Target yesterday. I tried it while using the smart keyboard and it fits great. Doesn't take much effort to install or remove the ipad from the sleeve.

Found an unused Midnight Blue Apple sleeve for less than half price on eBay - still a bit pricey, but haven't found a good way of transporting the pencil with the iPad so hopefully it does the trick.

It's perfect for the pencil (that was one of the big sells for me as well) and it is fantastic quality. A little steep? Yes. But the leather is very nice and looks great when I'm going from meeting to meeting in the office. Great bargain for half the price IMO.

It just arrived today - leather is a bit more substantial than I was expecting, and the pencil slots in with a rather satisfying click! For the price I paid, probably worth it. Already took my iPad out of the house to use on a train journey this afternoon as it's just a lot more convenient and protected in my bag.

Am very happy overall.

When I venture out with my IPP, I put it in the Apple Leather Sleeve, which then goes in my Muzetto Leather bag from SFbags. I primarily use the Sleeve at home.

Contrary to other posts, I have NOT found the sleeve to easily accommodate the iPad and ASK. I really found I had to struggle to get the IPP along with the ASK into the sleeve. I gave up and returned the ASK. Without a Smart Cover, I found the 12.9 IPP to fit a bit too loose in the sleeve for my taste. The IPP along with the leather Smart Cover felt just right.

I just bought one on eBay yesterday also , in Saddle Brown.

Just curious, you didn't think that the sleeve would loosen up a bit with use?

Also, the too-snug fit was enough for you to abandon the ASK? Do you use a keyboard at all now?

Thanks.

If I need to use a keyboard, I have a spare Apple Magic Keyboard I could use. It was a REAL STRUGGLE to get the IPP IN AND OUT of the sleeve. I am sure it would have loosened over time, but how quickly? The other issue was using the Apple Pencil. The view angle was simply not conducive for drawing, coloring or doodles. Lastly,I hold my iPad closer to me than the keyboard would allow. Trust me, over two weeks, I tried on many ways to get the ASK to work for me.

There are things I like and don't like about both the SC and ASK. Both present challenges for me. Neither is without hassle. The combination of the SC, sleeve and Pencil, present fewer issues for me.

Very expensive for what it is but I love it. It easily fits everything I need (10.5 pro, ASK, Apple Pencil) in a simplistic low profile case, use it everyday

Just got my sleeve in from China.

Love it, everything seems great. The pencil portion is a bit long, so I just stuffed cotton in there and now its good.
