Wait … you’re supposed to wear them somewhere else and I’ve been doing it wrong this whole time?!
I'm just going by how Beats co-founder and others wear them

Serious question: do you not sweat? I see random people posting online about how they wear over-ears at three gym, and my sweaty self cringes.

Yeah I sweat! I'll wipe down the earcups every now and then.

I recently got the Buds Plus after using AirPods Pros for a long time, I really like the Beats headphones. I definitely am going to try an over the ear Beats headphone. I know they are the same company, but I like me a little more bass. Stay funky my friends.

If these sound as good as the AirPods Max but on a plastic case to make cheaper/lighter and include spacial audio, I'd buy them. I love the AirPod Max, but they're too expensive/bulky/heavy. I never liked the sound of the Beats headphones though, way too bass heavy.

If they have a power on off switch and a real case, they’ll be much better than the Max.

I got my Airpod max for 425 at microcenter 18 months ago, They are my fav after replacing the XM3, which I liked. Not gonna be looking for over the year for another 4-5 years.
I love the fact that I care absolutely zero about the cups. If it ever gets to the point where I no longer like them, I can get new ones.

That is incredibly ambitious. My APM's died after 2 years. I'm hoping it's just a battery replacement and not a $300 fix, as some have reported. But 4-5 years seems like a lot for these.
I have a 3 yr insurance from MC, I will get a gift card if they die. Mine are working great, curious to see how much Apple charges battery replacement out of warranty.

Hopefully they improve ANC in the new model as well. Not sure if it's just how old mine are, 4-5 years but I find hard to even tell when it's on or off.

I really wanted to love the Studio Buds + so badly because the transparent buds and case are so cool. But they buds shift around in my ears way too much, and I don't really need another set of earbuds, because I have the Beats Fit Pro which are so good.

And no H1 chip is a big downer. Switching from one device to another (which I do a lot) is a significantly worse experience than on my Beats Solo Pro and Beats Fit Pro which have the H1.
Personally, I actually feel the Beats Studio Buds+ switch devices better than H1/H2 products because it still displays pop up notifications but lets me decide when they take control of the audio. And they are also the most stable without any fatigue that my Powerbeats Pro can sometime cause (Fit Pro aggravated my ears quickly and AirPods Pro don't stay in).

What with all the old cables? EU creates tons of e-waste.
U still use them with your old device till they fail 🧐

Thanks EU for getting rid of micro USB. The worst I/O after parallel port

Let's hope they support Apples headphone accommodations. I use an audiogram to boost the frequencies I don't hear well and love this feature on my AirPods. It's like glasses for my ears, the most underrated and unknown feature. Bought the current Beats Studio Pros just to find out they didn't support this so had to return them.

The great transition to USB-C has begun!
beats were a mix of headphone jack and usb-c before Apple, and then introduced Lightning in some wired headphone products post Apple.

So it's really more like a "one step forward, one step back, then forward again" situation.

But then again, this is beats so who really cares.

No matter how many USB-C ports Apple puts in them, they're still just low quality decoys, meticulously positioned in value/$ to make you think AirPods Pro are fairly priced at $249.

Absolutely love my Beats Fit Pro. Gamechanger to no longer worry about them falling out like with the AirPods Pro.
Still, looking for an over-the-ear to replace my old Bose QC25.
