I haven't worn mine in months, they make my head hurt.
Same. I generally like the SQ and features of these headphones, but they are not designed for people with anything but a tiny head. They are so tight that they compress my ears and hurt after just a half hour of wear.
I'd love it if they addressed this with the new models but I doubt that's going to happen seeing how Beats has done nothing but update the internals while leaving the physical design untouched version after version.

According to the 9to5 article they seem to support all the important Apple features, while also supporting Android features. And it has USB-C support, with special sound profiles for it.

To me it sounds like the better AirPro Max. I also prefer the design.

I'll stick to my Bose QC45. USB-C already, headphone jack, a real slide on/off switch, all functions are controlled by hardware buttons, comfortable, good NC, no connection issues with iOS, macOS, Windows and Linux.

BTW, there is some new info over at another site.

Glad they work for you. Along with the Sony XM4/5s, I’ve never been more disappointed by such a well reviewed products.

I got the AirPods Max and I have not been over whelmed by them to be honest. I was expecting a lot more for the price but I haven't had the chance to break them in yet. Had I know the Beats were coming out I would have held out to try them out. Its past the return date for me so I'll make it work but honestly very underwhelmed by them. Maybe my pair is defective? Beats are more rugged, no need to baby them like the AirPods Max.

the last ones already supported usb-c

OOOOO big exclamation for just a cable interface which most likely we'll all have another that is smaller and even stronger with faster throughput EVEN if under the same umbrella. Has 15yrs history of cable interfaces not taught us anything?!
The last Studios used micro usb

I hope the USB-C jack will allow for digital transfer of hi res audio, to be decoded in the headphones. But I suspect it will be for charging only. Which is lame.

Yes, I know. My point EXACTLY!

For almost a decade Micro-USB was THE standard first showing up on the Motorola RAZR OG feature phone back in 2004!

It is still used on a few headsets, spy cams etc.
It still is smaller in size than USB-C but it's not reversible and doesn't cary the power spec. IF it had evolved, USB-C may not have ever been needed? My point is interface of ports change and they change rather quickly: USB-C will not be the last, so the EU mandating it to be a standard so late in its life (2016 debut as TB3) seems very odd.
