Wow, can you post a link to where you can buy digital copies of movies and TV shows online direct from the studios (who of course hate DRM and would like to sell you their products completely DRM-free so you can use them as you like) without DRM being applied to them by the evil Apple?

He didn't say that, and if you read the thread you'll see he specifically says he buys movies on disc then downloads a digital copy so he can use the digital one on a wider range of devices. He's just making a (correct) point of law.
